Pm's sent.

After stealing a boat, and while I was foraging apples&hazelnuts, i received the pm and created a new character.
What can i say....? The village is AWESOME!

The lawspeaker(i am not sure if announcing the name of the player will have any negative effects) gave a great tour, but i still can use a village map. :P

Nice village Rift :o

Added you as Alan Silkthread.

Eh, it seems that my buddies are losing interest. I make so much food from my farms and flour and only a tiny amount of it is nibbled :s

Food only nibbled? Ehhh, we don't really so much have THAT problem. I spent hours yesterday farming and cooking. Then I smoked some cured hemp at ate most of it. It was a good day indeed.

I would encourage people to join up. We could always use more miners and smiths, as well as hunters. We are pretty low on boar meat all the sudden.

Question: Does tree stumps turn back into trees?
If not, if i were to use large amount of wood(eg. house building), am i advised to chop trees faraway from the village?

Trees are replanted, but it's a bit fiddly to do. It's best to have a tree farm set up.

All the trees inside our pallicade we planted to grow higher quality trees, and should not be chopped down unless to be replaced by higher quality trees.

Any tree outside the palicade is fair game. Theres no reason to go further away then necessary, in fact its helpful to have grassland around the outside of the village walls [happens when you deforest]

Not onlyu is grassland good, but it makes it far harder for people to build up rams against us.

Please don't chop down any trees inside the walls, but do remove stumps. Folly is the master of our trees.

Shouldn't we use the stumps to make high quality buildings that need stumps, or something?

WHAT IS THAT THING?
I can only "follow" it, and after a while, nothing special happened and i walked away.

In the beginning of time, When the gods first walked the earth, their first creation was the Dryad. A immortal creature who would simply run, run and never stop. Much later when the mortals began to travel the fair land, they would occasionally spot such a divine creature and be so inspired by its ancient majesty that they would begin to run after it, chasing it, finding themselves able to run across even the most dense jungle as long as it was in their sights.

So hilarious. It is a big running joke on the forums. Treeman sightings!

Anyways... Buildings don't have quality, so stumps should not be used there. Good places for high quality stumps are Herbalist tables, feasting tables, slipping for sticks, beehives, stuff like that.

Even if the tree is high quality? That doesn't make sense, how do you get higher quality blocks?

Also lawl at slipping splitting.
