Dear Diary,

I started writing you. Because you know what, over night suddenly there's a mile long palisade on the other side of river and I just had to write it down somewhere. The bright color of dandelions must've been blinding me or something. Me and Glitter do good and that random Caliku guy got one of his friends on. They happen to enjoy my little clay chariots I make from that q25 acre clay. The island is otherwise unpopulated, but that's large island and with heath and a lot of trees so we're fine.

That wall seems to be maintained by a group of multi-national people, there's a german guy and a girl in a bear cape. Their wall is huge, did I mentioned that?

Also found a Polish guy who kept sailing after me, asking if I have a girlfriend, for reasons I cannot fathom. Also, found another spider web while gathering berries!

Leather tanning is going okay and this evening we should start working on the palisade, we just need more bones for bone glue. Still no sight of any bay12forumers I could recognize. Still no WWW's or people who could provide me with any seeds, blaaah. How am I supposed to be a farmer without seeds?

Now the game is down so I can go make some tea for meself.

According to the front page (the only page still working) the server has been "shut down", as in intentionally.

i've been watching it, it went from "crashed" to shutting down, to shutdown.
i assume thats just the crashing process.. likely it tries to save the maps after it crashes.

This game is pretty different now... First and formost, if you start playing, grab a cone and a stick. This will let you create your first curisitoy, which you can drop into the "study" portion of the character screen from some LP. I'd suggest making a couple and cycling through them.

You don't get LP for mindlessly grinding clay pots any more, instead you get it once for learning a recipe and once for building that recipe. You learn a recipe by harvetsing all the materials for it. For this reason I think it is important for small towns to have a couple of dead rabbits around for new players to butcher once.

I have no idea why I like this game. I built a log cabin last night and it took a hell of a long time. I am going to have to farm up to 4000 lp so I can get yeomanry to build cabinents. I wondered around pointlessly for hours last night and I am looking forward to playing again.

Anyway, the town I am in, please please save some  plant fibers for me to harvest. We need to build a herbalist table as I caught some silk moths.

No, if you don't join the town right off, it is almost impossible to find. It wouldn't hurt to make a character and get a feel, then make a new one when you get a Heath Secert.

So far I don't know of any towns per se, but some groups are living near eachother.
