IDK I think the enitire thing went belly up a week ago, maybe someone has a bit of a village around, hope so.

Yep. Still running a successful village. PM me and i'll try and get you in tomorrow. We are having a brief problem at the moment with a griefer attempting to exploit into the village, but it should be handled soon.

Just noticed this thread, too bad things broke up. I've got a little hermit roundpole fenced in area myself, and I have no idea where I am. Has anyone ever seen the village "Poseiden's valley"?

The only landmark near here I can find.

If anyone is still playing anyway.

We're not a Bay12 village exactly, but if people are emigrating we could always use more hands in the frigid north. No village totem yet, but there are a couple of large claims and enough shacks, space and food to accommodate quite a few more.

We're currently settling a wild and abandoned area with quite a few new guys, so no experience is needed. It's just an easy going village for a bunch of new/returning people to find their feet.

PM for directions if you're looking for a new home.

anyone but supercharazard(apparently a bad player?) want to join my newly formed village, we are on the edge of the world (North-east-east), don't really have much yet, though we do have iron and copper.  Just me and a trusted friend.

Anyone care to join me? I have a nice little spot nestled between a forest full of fruit trees, a plain, a spruce forest, and has a river nearby.

Well we are fairly scattered.  But i've got a new vilalge going, so if you send me your hearth secret I can invite you to the village, or you can make a new character and spawn there.

Please tell me they remembered to fix the animal spawns and have made obtaining food faster and easier. Otherwise i can imagine players tripping over a fresh skeleton every few minimap squares.

[edit - the rest seems like a good broken jaw to the macro-and-bot crowd though, hopefully that broken jaw won't matter much if the system doesn't require you to spend bullshit huge amounts of xp on learning new shit; the xp requirements on skills had better be reballanced otherwise the xp-for-time-spent-playing broken jaw will be starving characters to death]

So, anybody gonna try starting another Bay 12 village? With LP (theoretically) much more difficult to get, we might actually be able to get a proper village up and running before our neighbors get rage and slaughter us all.:D

Eh, I'm not too bummed about the bread. I suppose it does put something of a non-intuitive premium on getting Exploration up fast for food. (Mmm, taproots).

The fishing rod, of course, is pointless because it's two sticks. The real hard part is the bones (God I hope rabbits are more common).

Knowing my luck I'll just spawn next to a bear anyway.

I don't know what my plans are at this point. I sent a PM to the core of my little group from last world. I suppose the guys we never got out-of-game contact info for are sort of lost to the ether. E-ther. Whatever. I had seriously considered joining the B12 group last time but... Well, after seeing the drama that erupted I'm not so sure my quiet living was that bad.

got less done in this version then i did in the last one, and i played non-stop until i hit the second fucking slider movement. xp gain is impossible now at any rate that would be reasonable to continue gameplay into the middle game. you just simply run out of shit to one-time-xp-gain and then you're stuck waiting on a fucking timer for your next boost of xp. selecting anything other then change at the start is effectively gimping your character because once you get that one-time gain, you're never getting it again.
... in fact, if you really wanted to min-max this shit what you'd do is stand next to apple trees and just munch apples, burning time to get a belief slider movement available; until you hit full change and full peace. then trollolo the shit out of your 360% xp bonus on all the rediculously simple to get, one-time xp's so that every object's value has been maximized right from the start... while simultaniously minimizing your enjoyment.
just a terrible, terrible fucking system.

and naturally, no change log.

H&H forum "moderators" still insufferable and miserable cunts, too... *cough*
