Roanoke server seems to be most popular of the three.
More people to trade with which is good.

I could take in one or two immigrants on my farm on Roanoke, I've built it when I was a lot more active and now it's too big for me to maintain properly (mostly have trouble with silver upkeep). However, due to a very bad experience with supercharazad in H&H, I'll only accept well established forum members, who have a reputation they'd care about losing.

Did they ever actually add in ammo, quality, magic, and swimming?  Cause in that case I'd definitely join your farm for a bit to help out and see the new features, can't say I'll stay around for ever but some free labour could be helpful for you.  And worse comes to worse I don't like the game and leave.

Yeah hahah the thing that drove me away from salem was all the promises of big things and then thier 'massive super awesome update' adds in turkeys.  I quit then.

Ammo is in and guns actually do a ton of damage, but you still can't craft your own powder and balls, you have to buy them in Boston for now. Quality hasn't been updated, but I think that's the next big thing they'll add. No whiff of magic so far, closest we got is the first darkness creature (argopelter) getting implemented. Swimming is in, as are boats. Oh, and an interesting new feature is artifice that you slot into clothing for combat bonuses and soil digging and tree chopping speed bonus (other civilian artifacts will be implemented eventually). Those take high skills to slot in successfully, though, so I have to ask any farmhands to keep their hands off my artifice.

I really loved this game conceptually, and even managed to meet some really cool folks (people living atop a mountain and worshiping Odin :D), but things just got too trollish. It wasn't even the ridiculously obscure combat or unrestricted PK that bothered me, but the fact that the people doing it (present company excluded, I'm sure!) always seemed to be violent, angry orphans with a vendetta against society.

I never cease to be amazed by the amount of griefers that find their way into the most random, cult-based games.  ::)

So, I have 2 people who have used my hearthfire. Counting all the chests, crates, and stuff, its gonna take 3 people, which we have to move all of this loot to anywhere where we might start up. Has anyone found any good village locations?

Sure! Today I will be on at 2 pm EST for a couple of hours, so we can get started on exploring for a location.

I dunno maybe we need some secret handshake or something to recognize we're from B12.
