That just means that it's popular to be for Christianity. Still good in such a region.

It's popular to put your life on the line for christianity? Or are they trying to raise awareness?

Raising awareness. My point was that celebrities will follow civil rights trends. With a few exceptions of course.

I'm going to respectfully disagree that this is a trend. Speaking against it is one thing, acting against it in a way that can harm you is another. This is going to stay for a while.

Not this level of active fighting back. The most you tend to get is a message on TV within the region that says terrorism is bad on a good day.

I was referring to the popularity of anti-segregation with Hollywood.

... You didn't read what I posted did you? These are Egyptian Celebrities, unless you were talking about Hollywood celebrities... in which case, why were you talking about Hollywood Celebrities.

I was referring to the popularity of being anti-segregationist in Hollywood. I was saying it's popular to be like this. It gets fans.

Well, as far as I see it, it's two groups of people believing in the same god, who are killing each other off. Makes me wonder about the character of the god in question...

This is not a debate on the character of God.

They are killing each other off because the holy books of both religions, which are allegedly written by said god, can be interpreted as calling for the annihilation of the other religion. However, let's not debate over the nature  of Abrahamic God. That is for the atheist thread.

You know, a lot of them are probably actually trying to raise awareness for these causes. And at any rate, we are talking about Egyptian celebrities, not American ones.

Hey, I find it pretty inspiring.  And even if the celebrities were in it for the publicity, what about the normal, unknown Muslims there?

Then those Muslims were the true hero's.
