You're right, I was sort of unclear. I don't blame them in the sense that I think they directly inspired it, or that he shares their political beliefs or opposition. However, I do think they're responsible for creating the sort of atmosphere that makes something like this more likely to begin with, and that even if they aren't, they've still treated the subject as a cheap political tool until now, when it has come back and smacked them in the face after something bad like that really happens and reminds us how serious the subject of armed revolution and armed attacks on government really is.

If P.Z. hasn't changed that image to its correct political party of "Independent" then you're probably looking at the photo-shopped image that says Loughner is a registered Republican. That one is false.

A crazy right-wing anti-taxation grammarian movement. If Loughner did take influence from Miller then I can understand why he appears incoherently insane.

I think inspiration by the violent tea party "take back our country!" rhetoric is still on the table. The whole movement feeds itself on paranoia and fear of government without foundation. "Health Care reform! Oh no!" Not even Universal Health Care but rather reforms that in the long-run are projected to decrease the deficit and protect customers from what almost amounts to fraud... [sarcasm]really something to be enraged about guys.[/sarcasm]

are you fucking kidding me? those dipshits are the dumbest oragnization. oh god i remember them when they protested at our school, Standley Lake(apparently we were a bunch of adulterests). it was cold and raining, there was only 5 of them compared to the pile in front of the school, one of the signs said stop eating babies which was probably the best lolz of the school. Knew a kid that live a across the street and of course took advantage of the signs and starts cheering in the middle of the street until the police on hand escorted him to the school.

I was wondering how long it would take for some truly despicable clown who never goes away to show what "capitalizing" on a tragedy actually looks like.  All that shit about attaching a label to Loughner as some kind of attack on political parties?  Peanuts.  That is some world-class douchebaggery right there.

I also love hop Phelps fucks it up right off the bat by naming Loughner as an Afghanistan veteran.  There's a lot of misinformation floating around, but considering a key factor in Loughner's background was the Army recruiter showing him the door, I have to wonder how Phelps managed to get something like that wrong.
