I don't know why I'm watching these YouTube videos. Well, no, I know why. Because I believe everything can be understood, if not within rational logic then at least within its own logic. And anything that can be understood can be dealt with. These videos are virtually beyond comprehension.
Take for example,
this gibberish. Most of Loughner's hieroglyphic webcasts take the form of elementary logical statements, a bit like Venn diagrams. "A and B are true. If A and B, then C is true. Therefore C is true." The problem is, he keeps reiterating his logical followthrough, without ever making the slightest attempt to explain
why A and B are true. For instance, tuition is unconstitutional, and this community college charges tuition, therefore this community college is unconstitutional. But Mr. Loughner,
why is tuition unconstitutional? He's also apparently not very good at math, and got kicked out of school a lot, for interrupting classes to make his... case.
It's a classic case I suppose, that he's so convinced of his own understanding of the world, that he not only thinks it's criminally irrational to perceive the world any other way (enough to go exact his own justice apparently), but it doesn't even enter into his head to mention the fact. The world is what it is, there is no other way of describing or explaining anything, everyone can see this exactly the same way, but there's
all these people, who are simultaneously a ruling elite and a brainwashed majority, who refuse to acknowledge that the way they think is
wrooong. Something must be done.
He also apparently has some serious grammar issues - one might think his poor typing and syntax is just that, like anything else on the Internet, but maybe that's how he actually talks. He simultaneously believes that people are illiterate if they don't understand English grammar, but you can also invent your own grammar. To stick it to the man, or something, even though there is one right grammar... I keep thinking I can hold onto his line of logic. That there is a thread in there to grasp and follow out of the labyrinth. But it keeps slipping just out of reach.
This guy's going to draw me in and destroy my mind, like an autistic Hannibal Lecter. Somebody help me out here.
