Alpha: "Okay, here's how it's going to go: You're going to go in there and pose as a mechanic-"
TQ-02: "N mm h mfgkhnnk!"
Alpha: "Don't interrupt me. You're going to access the maintainence computer and download schematics of every access tube, crawlspace, and ventilation duct on this ship. Find me another way in!"
TQ-02: "Mhht hmbht-"
Alpha: "I'll be right behind this conveniently-placed pile of crates, watching you; try to run, or alert anyone to my presence, and I will burn you down. Understood?"
TQ-02: "Mmm-hmmm."

To be fair, I've thought that a good amount of your posts have been siggable, only two problems have stopped me from sigging you in the past.
1. I was lurking at the time, no profile
2. Sig limit.

Well, thank you.  I'd rather like to believe I contribute to the literary amusements of the day.

And, because I can't actually quote a signature line, I'll just quote the following post to reply . . .

Three years man. Three years.
And counting.

My signature is now yours.  The circle is complete.

Back on topic:

...repair bay.

Well, this is less of an ambush than you expected.
Though there are plenty of mechanics to give away your position.

No, this really isn't bad.  Look at these happy-go-lucky goofballs.  It's like they don't even know about Litheu attacks and plasma battles and stuff.  Which they don't.

Therefore, calmly go about your business without even talking to the mechanics.  The most they'll think is that Alpha is in the military and TQ-02 is a slightly-weird cyborg.  I support the "access the maintenance computer and download schematics of every access tube, crawlspace, and ventilation duct on this ship" option.  And then, TQ-02 should accidentally reprogram the maintenance computer to produce muffins while trying to hack it.

He should work on upgrading his arm's materializer, and look spiffy.

Tried which?  Materializing more batteries?  Or murdering the laws of physics?

well the last time we screwed up and TQ-02 couldn't think up proper batteries.
we should just skip the middleman and just make the materializer materialize energy it could use to materialize other stuff, that way TQ-02 just need to wait for it to charge back up.

While were at it better materalize a materalizer so rauthaz can materalize batteries for TQ-02's materializer
