This is bad, very bad.
Yo tell TS-419 to go get RF-5271923 and TQ-8675309 and tell them to get a
headcount of able mutants on the double.
Then bring them back to the room for equipment.
There's not time to explain.
He nervously communicates affirmative as you run from the room.
You've got to deal with that droid who's broadcasting your
location and conversations to the droid collective.
You call to RT-9761234 and XV-15 to go collect SC-412 and prepare
the crowd against the coming droids with equipment.
Create some kind of organization. Something!
"
You countermeasures will be futile. You will pay personally for your transgressions!"
You've got to put an end to that too.
You push the droid's helpless chassis to your hacker as fast as possible.
You'll see if you can somehow hinder the local collective virally through the collective.
You work with utmost haste in your alterations.
Your fingers fly fast as you modify the subroutines.
Well, you're really just hotkeying in scripts you've already prepared,
but time is of the essence.
"
You will pay tubespawner. You have transgressed too far. You will come to knoooooww feeeeeeaaaarrr..."
You modify the droid's communications subroutines and communications protocols.
It should briefly reboot and show the effects of the virus it is transmitting to the local hub.
...f46529 should be feeling different about you now.
"
Argh,
ye don't honor the laws of the sea
ye can make me transmit packets you slimy scallowag
but you can't stop me hearties from keelhauling the lot of you.
By the ten violet seas of the south you'll hand from the mizzenmast before this is through. "
What?
Your bafflement of the droid's damaged personality core is interrupted
by the sounds of droids coming down the corridor and the subsequent screams
of terror at their arrival.
What do you do?
Sorry everybody, it's just hard to get into the swing of things out here in the real world. I hope this update is wacky enough to make up for it.
When Rumrusher is being sensible and well thought out it is a sign that people have weird ideas about how to do things.
Man, I must have drawn at least most of those things.
It gets kind of hard to make them all fit together in a single update though.
When I'm given a list of things to do in one update the key is to do them in such a way that they do not have to be or cannot be elaborated until later.
When I'm conflicted as to whether or not something is feasable within the universe I just say "sure" then choose the stupidest outcome.
