No, any medical facilities will have an undefined number of Sectoids in them.  Evidence suggests we can only efficiently take on one Sectoid at a time, and we have to get seriously creative to handle more than one without any Psy points.  Thus, minimize encounters.

Our residence will not have so many Sectoids.  In fact, because of the absurd security measures we (obviously) put in, it should have none, not even the requisite gloating usurper drinking our wine and scratching up our pool table.  Thus, go to residence.

Unless a perusal of the mental map reveals other features of these two alternative routes (med bay versus residence) that bias the other way around.  I still can't see the thing over here, but it sure didn't have medical facilities at the time it was posted.

P.S.: According to that same post I keep linking and keeps not displaying its images for me, it's the flight deck and not the bridge.  And I would rather have some Psy points before getting to the flight deck.  And our residence is basically on the way to the flight deck, so Psiotonin injections at the residence it shall be.  Though it would be nice if this could be faster.  Where are those System Shock 2 Value-Rep machines when you really need hypos??
