your horrifying rescuer deposits you on the skywalk having
captured your leg during your assassination attempt.

You don't feel like you should have been saved.
You're a terrible person and deserve to have died
in that fall. You certainly shouldn't have been saved by ZC-04
Your self esteem takes a hit.

Snap. Out. Of. It.

You try to reason with your savior. Plead for forgivenessand
say that the blatant attempt on her life was accidental.
You ask her what she's planning on doing with TQ-42a
and what it will mean for the world.

ZC-04 gurgles and buzzes through organs you're sure Sectoids don't haveth
at she doesn't know what you're talking about or who TQ-42 is.
She states that she's been looking for you for hours and needs you to assign her vocation.
She chides you irresponsibility for forgetting to do so.

Sorry for the wait I thought I'd see what your deliberations were during this turbulent time.
However at this point I'm thinking Robocorn is trying to drive us towards mutant sympathy.
I'm not trying to drive anyone towards anything, so far anyway.
I like to keep things open but there are a few character traits that I stick to in characters to
keep them consistent and give them the illusion of difference. TQ-04 would probably never
even consider sparing ZC-04 unless this happened which gives the option to all those "befriend the mutant posters" whether or not he actually does so is up in the air depending on what the consensus is.
I usually go with what is most agreed upon unless someone posts something really funny or clever.

So?
Up until now I'm impressed with a lack of railroading. Otherwise what's the point of making suggestions? :)

Personally, I like getting this guy to become some kind of sectoidhitler, directly opposed to the Che Guevara mutant uprising we've got going on. We'd be playing both sides at the same time. That whole cthulhu/yoggoth story? Nice, but we're walking the other way. I'm DM hell.  8)
I could say something about your overconfidence but my main peeve with is that
you keep misnaming the story I'm parodying.

More updates today depending on the turnout of response to this post.

Assign ZC-04 to combat duty role on the island for mutants, Nothing wrong with that plan. OR get ZC-04 to follow you to TQ-42 apartment and finish him!

You can certainly see his/her stuff, but I think TQ-04 wins this match.

Send her off to island of misfit sectoids on janitorial duty. And ask her about her coat, it seems to have gotten thicker.

be impressed by the mutant's obviously exposed genitals

That's her tail, it's between her legs.

Explain about TQ-42's experiments, and ask ZC-04 to help you stop him.

A little from A, a little from B . . .

And ask her about her coat, it seems to have gotten thicker.

Yes, if it doesn't traumatize TQ-04 to talk about mutation details.  It could be coincidence, or it could be important.

Explain about TQ-42's experiments

Sure.  But beyond that, we learned over here that ZC Sectoids have "increased proclivities towards empathy and bureaucratic work."  The idea of turning against TQ-42, an individual who clearly just wants to help those mysterious eldritch forces, might be upsetting to someone so empathic.

Perhaps there is a middle ground or baby step to take.

Tell her that her assignment is going to be a problem due to her mutations, and that she can blame it on TQ-42.

Damnit! I read that story not 2 weeks ago, and I knew this was the one you were doing, however I'm reading ALL of HP's work in a row right now, and misplaced Yog-sothoth with Yoggoth. I'm sorry and won't do it again :P

However, linking Yog-sothoth with Yog-hurt... Hmmm.

Nudge would probably be a better word for the impression i got.

Your brilliant plan seems to be working.  Lead the mutant to the droid station while claiming that you are leading it to A PROPER JOB FINE.  If questioned about your nervousness say you are merely shaken by the fall.
