wait, it is? really?

Yes, lower standards means you're less likely to be disappointed. Lowering your standards does wonders for your life.
Though it does make people look at you strange when you're enjoying something mediocre and they're not. Note that I am not implying that this game is mediocre.

It's better than people looking at you strange when you're disappointed in something fantastic.
Actually, they're both about as bad. Enjoying something bad when they're not makes them think you are weird and have bad tastes. Not enjoying something fantastic while they are makes them think you are boring and have bad tastes.

Yes, but at least you're enjoying yourself with low standards.
And you get laid a lot more.

... bad Siquo.

You had to say that didn't you?

Quote from: Phantom
Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Also a valid point.

And I think, what with the new site and whole first chapter down, it won't be a while until the next update.

You Are Now Alpha Rauthaz

After a brisk walk you find yourself in the small airlock room at the far end of the corridor.
Only several of this kind of room exist capable of carrying persons comfortably between the ship.
Mostly for the purpose of transporting non-materializable materials that can't be teleported into
the ships cargo hold.

That droid from before is covered in blood and embedded in a wall.

It seems your outburst with the droid has killed this anonymous Sectoid.
Really flattened the sucker too. It's surprising how little you care.

The wall possesses a single barricaded airlock to the cargo hold of your starship,
the Acier Rouge. The door appears to be code protected and a hand scanner
is placed inverted in the center of the door. You briefly muse about whether all beings
incapable of spontaneous teleportation must endure such trivialities before entering a starcraft.
Unfortunately your pilot is among those incapable of teleportation and you find yourself
reduced to finding a way through this door.

If this takes more than one update I am going to be very surprised, mostly due to the nature of the reference.

Order the one with the missing tooth to deconstruct the door or you'll lobotomize him. With your mind. Also, beware the dead sectoid, and be on the lookout for cats with strange ears.
