Ok,just stop thinking about limbs you apparently have some limb-phobia,better try to do something useful like getting some shelter from other disastrous thoughts.And maybe some sunlight could be of use.

We've got eye-light, it's just not yet bright enough. But that can be fixed.

Use the salty crystals from your tears and build a suit of robotic armor to protect your fragile body.
then summon/teleport a random Sectoid maybe TQ-07/TQ-30 to your location for you need a Meat shield companion.
I expect a freak out from said Sectoid.

Develop the ability to propel oneself through any plane and direction in the available universe with thought only. Practice with this ability to gain confidence, also do what the other people are saying. You can do anything as long as you set your mind to it, we have someone depending on us now so we should put in our best efforts!
