All of these new clones are so beautiful, those that aren't marred by phenotype altering mutations
fill you with the utmost joy and pride. You are so glad to be working as a spawner,
you would not trade it for anything.
RecapWhat the hell? Recap? There's been less than 70 updates. The story can't be going that fast can it?
Well I guess I'll oblige because I myself have been thrown for a few loops and it will spare everyone spending
half an hour rereading tho get oriented. Besides, it was quoted, I can't ignore a quoted thing that just wouldn't be right.
The story begins with two Sectoids TQ-01 and TQ-02 ,a pilot and an engineer, on Zerblex-14 a huge space station orbiting the star Feffle. TQ-01 decides to pay TQ-02 a visit before applying for sponsorship, an arrangement that will allow him to pilot actual spacecraft out of simulations, but is prevented from leaving his room by a broken door. TQ-01 attempts to send a message to his other friend TQ-03, a mutant on their home planet but is thwarted by the speed of light. Frustrated, TQ-01 opts to apply for sponsorship through a holographic simulation broadcast by his vizu-screen. Through a large series of acrobatic maneuvers and clever flying, TQ-01 passes his test and is added to the roster of elligible pilots for sponsorship. But becaomes distracted by the sound of droids before he can accept any sponsorships.
Meanwhile, TQ-02 attempts to play a virtual game of chance on his vizu-screen but is refused on accounts of a huge ingame debt to TQ-01. TQ-02 ignores the refusals and is put under lockdown with draids being sent to modify his brain to make him more responsible. In a panic, TQ-02 creates an unwieldy forcefield helmet that throws off his balance and irresponsibly corrects this problem with a suit of armor that completely inhibits his movements.
The two Sectoids are united when a droid incorrectly demolishes TQ-01's allowing him to escape his room and assist TQ-02 who is being beaten by the droid. TQ-01 succeeds in incapacitating the droid by driving a wrench into it's weak spot, its giant obvious glowing red eye. TQ-02 regains his mobility after TQ-01 activates his armor's power that was controlled by a knob idiotically placed on the back of the suit. With his new power armor, TQ-02 easily destroys the droid and attracts the attention of Alpha Rauthaz, a psychokinetic and the former covert leader of the entire Gabronian race now turned to fugitive after her subordinates betrayed her.
Alpha Rauthaz orders TQ-02 to help her escape and he obliges while attracting the suspicion of TQ-01 who doesn't trust Alpha Rauthaz. More droids come to apprehend TQ-01 and TQ-02 but Rauthaz deactivates them with an obscure code word that only she knows. Rauthaz demands a suit of powered armor like TQ-02's but TQ-02 finds himself unable to reproduce the armor, eventually destroying it and building ovens in its place. Frustrated, Alpha Rauthaz, dopeslaps TQ-02 inciting the anger of TQ-01 who respons with a punch. Under the impression that TQ-02 works better under pressure, Alpha Rauthaz claims that more droids are coming. In a panic, TQ-02 encases himself in a metal shell and created a device that dons TQ-01 and Alpha Rauthaz in ridiculous and revealing powered armor, which Rauthaz then uses to knock TQ-01 unconcious.
Meanwhile, on Mezizz, the 5th planet of the Gabronian home system, anew day dons of TQ-04, a reproductive engineer, who chats with his neighbor TQ-05, a communication engineer about the status of their friends TQ 01 and 02 who left for Zerblex-14 three years prior and their inability to contact them through civilian means that operate at lightspeed. They then discuss the apparent death of TQ-07, the apparent leader of the system (who was actually a patsy for Alpha Rauthaz) before listening to
TQ-05's loud and irritating music TQ-04 then goes to his job at the spawning plant which he loves more than anything.
On a faraway island on the same planet, TQ-03, an exiled mutant computer specialist, finishes target practice with illicit weaponry and goes for a short walk in the isolated compound that she and all of the planet's other uncanny mutants inhabit. Curious as to the condition of the mutants in the compound, she performs a search of the database and finds there to be a small army's worth of able bodied Sectoids wasting away on the island. Yearning for freedom, TQ-03 puts a plan into motion to unite the mutants in rebellion and messages all able bodied mutants simultaneously with a call for arms.
Also occurring at approximately the same time, A morose mutant on Roptullis-2 named TQ-666, cries and writhes around on the floor of his dormitorium cell, in severe agony until a mysterious creature appears and whisks him off to some strange unknown place beyond the stars themselves.
That's pretty much it
Now what?
