put useful stuff in extradimensional storage device.

Remove cryptcoder and use on box.

possible use KO'd guard as shield incase of nasties in box

if Litheu is inside offer guard as snack.

if baby Litheu. perhaps we can tame for body guard.

contemplate killing guard by ramming muffin gun in mouth and filling him with muffins. Also makes for tastier Litheu  snack.
Using a knock out guard as a shield just prevents mobility for our already high Strength having hero.
Swap the Vizo with the Guard and see if you can find a intergalatic language tutor and grind language courses until your Legendary Speaker, "Being able to talk out of a jam is better than being able to punch your way for you can convince others to fight for you."

You're sure that the guard will come to soon enough.
He dealt with your punches pretty well.
You'll try to store him in the inventory band.

The gauntlet annihilates his body without a trace.

It looks like there's a mass limit on the storage chambers.
The guard's data took up three of the six compartments.
If you can just avoid breaking the gauntlet or accidentally reducing him to glox
this whole event won't be flagrant murder.

You check out that cryptocoder thing to see what it does.
Maybe you can use deductive reasoning to discern its function.
Surely it must be useful.

Almost as soon as you activate it, the cryptocoder alerts you of the presence of a nearby box.
It directs you to the location of the box and displays that it contains hull gel.
Maybe this is how those boxes get opened, you'd always wondered about that.

Finals are a drag I won't be able to update tomorrow, and probably will spend the following day recovering from several of them. That's right, I'm warning about a two day hiatus.

I'm trying out those abbr tags to maybe give context to terminology that the characters know about but may or may not be obvious to a reader. tell me if this is a good idea.

EDIT: Centered it because Rexfelum noticed.

You should probably do something to denote that words have mouseover text. I had to quote your post originally to look at the BBcode to find out where you did this.

Open the crate and take some gel. Save inventory space by covering captured sectoid with obtained gel.

Would you like the compete list of "ways this could go horrifically wrong" that I just created?

Anyway.  We have now determined that this nearby crate does NOT contain explosives and should NOT detonate when mildly bumped.  This calls for a victory dance on top of the crate.

Also, abbreviation text is fine I guess, so long as you do enough of it that it doesn't seem like a gimmick with minor payoff.  Also, I fear not your two-day hiatus.

Forget about the numerous negative consequences. Just think how hilarious it will be when he wakes up covered in sticky hull gel!

See if you can transfer the sectoid to a file on the Vizo.

Also what to say Hull gel isn't combustible in it's liquid state?

Swap hull gel with body.

Having it in your inventory isn't going to do us any good, and summoning hull gel might make a great incapacitator.

I just heard Tarantino say in the back of my head "did you notice a sign out in front that said, 'Unconscious sectoid storage'?"

Oh yeah forgot there where Nanites Store some Nanites so that you can get TQ-02 to make a liquid metal suit and craft Miss Leeyanne a secdroid body using the knock out sectoid as model.

I have realized two things.

First, GASP!  That post isn't centered, again.

Second, the gel looks to be suspended somehow.  Is there, I dunno, a plastic wrapper on the gel or some sort of suspension equipment separate from the crate itself?  If it's just a property of the crate, I am concerned that the gel would splash out when the crate is opened.  Perhaps the crate is only intended to be opened at it's destination, where you immediately pour the contents onto a ship.  Once done with victory dance, assess the potential existence of internal mechanisms that hold the gel in a coherent unit.  Also, use very wordy sentences.

Now that you've identified the box as not containing some kind of substance that will
destroy you outright upon disturbance, you find it an appropriate time to celebrate
your realization with dance.
You display fanciful flying footwork on the fortified freight.

Updates tomorrow.
Tonight you can just appreciate how terrible I am.

You kept proper left-right positioning of TQ-01's worn items, instead of just flipping him back and forth.  You even updated the gradient between the two images.  This is the greatest artistic achievement in this thread since the last one.
