oh if we ever go back to TQ-01 hopefully he keeps up the ruse of being a member... an aggressive member of the crew who hates having a kind gesture be ignored, but now we are playing a Secneto master of Droid manipulation and chain smoker.

Give them symbols, beverages, guns. In that order.

I vote for any plan that involves food and/or drink.

Almost any plan.

Don't make me regret saying this, people . . .

Edited P.S.: Stone Wera's avatar reminded me!  Yogurt!  Low dosage this time, though.

You helpfully lead your guests to your small stockpile of paints with
which they are to adorn themselves.

You instruct them on how to craft the personalized emblems
they are to emblazon on their person and request they do so
whilst you procure refreshments befitting a relatively small gathering such as this.

You leave them to their own devices while you materialize
a relatively small platter of yogurts for them.
They seem to be having a heated discussion.

Their discussion subsides immediately upon the arrival of the refreshments.
They seem to have neglected to apply the universal insignia.

You give them their refreshments.
They mill about in awkward silence occasionally eying the yogurt in their hands.

now what?

Make fun of the one on the left for being gross and wrinkly.  This will cause you to gain the support of the other two, for they too can see that the one on the left is gross and wrinkly.

Dont make fun of the uggmo sectoid, you'll lose his/her/its confidence.

Whatever you do, do NOT ask them why they behave like that. That kind of insecure behaviour will be seen as a weakness. Keep the upper hand, and start orating about your plans for equality for all sectoids.

I'd hate to think that these Sectoids didn't like yogurt or something.  If it was a mistake to use yogurt, then it's wise to plow straight ahead into other issues (discuss the emblem, give a motivational speech, et cetera) and let them move on.  Best case scenario: if they're just uncomfortable and don't feel like eating, making progress will get them to relax.

Also, I see food shovels (or less-useful straws) in the early graphics, but not in the final graphic.  Don't just distribute the yogurt, distribute the food shovels too, come on.

You forgot to give them spoons, you are a horrible hostess! Ask their names. Materialize two saddles and tell the green one to ride the droid, handing out pamphlets and shouting slogans. The one with the scar will ride the wrinkly one, doing the same as the green one.

And ask where the other sectoid went. I remember a fourth to their party.

I suddenly have a bad feeling... Ask the droid what he told them in order to get them here.

I was looking at the mutants from right to left!

"Hmm, Scarface, cool!"
"Eh, green guy, like on the flintstones."

Hopefully it's just a situation of them not all being drawn all the time.  The Sectoid in question would be that grayer one in the back:

this unstoppable army of

...four?

Next:

I suddenly have a bad feeling... Ask the droid what he told them in order to get them here.

It wasn't the droid (named 00AEEF, for reference).  It was the green Sectoid, who himself looks uncomfortable right now.  Let's hope the discomfort can be resolved quickly.

Could it be that yogurt is taken as a symbol of the oppressive "non-mutant" majority, and so all these mutants naturally despise it?  This shouldn't be the case, since that green Sectoid didn't even think of himself as oppressed until TQ-03 spoke with him about it.  I repeat, get forward momentum.  Be nice.  Offer food shovels.  Listen to any complaints about the dietary selection.  Forward revolutionary agenda.  Et cetera et cetera et cetera.
