Burning humans
« on: December 17, 2006, 12:44:00 am »

They just showed up that way. I'm afraid to let them get to my fort but there's not much I can do. They're halfway to the outside river with a gigantic plume of smoke behind them and oh god

Hahaha, not every day you see that    :p

Looks like it might be a bug or a corrupted raw. Try a variety of things, like locking them out till they stop burning, or using water and letting the steam kill them (only if you dont really care), or just let em in and keep your fingers crossed. Either way, do what you think is best, or if you scum, try em all.    :p

Notice the items have no material? Interesting.

Well luckily they're not catching anything on fire. They're chilling in the depot now i have no idea what's going on. Maybe they were just using their clothing as makeshift torches?

Note they have no material, things autoignite when they have a bogus material entry.

That's kind of an odd reaction.

Its probably because it reads in the ignition temperature as 0 or something along those lines.

I don't really care what the reason for it is, that's still the greatest thing I've ever seen.

They're moving for your wood stockpile.

Are their wagons on fire too?

Nope, just their clothing. They didn't catch anything else on fire.

When they eventually left all the burning clothing had burned off, though.

There are more efficient ways to remove one's clothing.

The intruder arose, casting off its black cloak.  "Behold, stunted jesters!  It is I, Scuro!"  A jagged scar marked the goblin's face from eye to chin, his greasy mane gray and wild, and about his neck was the broken silver amulet, strapped together by a leather band.

Yeah, the issue is the missing materials on the clothing.  Was this modded at all?  I'm not sure why it didn't select a material.

Yeah, I've been messing around with plants which has cropped up some other bugs that weren't as nifty. Right now all the seeds for stuff that can be gathered outside can be bought while in embarkation mode. It's ... a bit strange.
