Edit: also, since Disaed is half-human, how does that affect how I react to him talking about working with gems?

Your character is no more or less pissed off about his work with gems than he would be with any other elf, so long as he dosn't find out about Disaed's impurity of blood. Unless somebody tells him, he is unlikely to figure it out himself. I'm guessing your character has never even seen a wood elf before, and is opperating under the assumption that Disaed is just a normal member of that Elfin subspecies.

I'm updating the game information and rolling tonight. Post coming tomorrow in all likelyhood.

Edit: Sorry. I just got around to updating and rolling. I am writing the next turn now. Hopefully I'll finish before I leave for school.

Can't wait to get that safe open. Riches await? Or maybe zombies/ghosts/animated coin golems.

Just a quick reminder, if you would like to act against another character, or do something without giving the group a chance to talk you out of it OOCly, feel free to PM your action to me.

I love how Weirdsound writes these turns, incorporating our actions in the overall story, while coloring it with our characters personalites. He seems to have nailed my character pretty well...

I suggest our new found treasure goes to buying some nice crafting tools. Or maybe hired help?

Also, we got about uh, 4 meals left of food. Anyone for foraging?
I'm gonna make a fishing rod first though!

I'll forage for food after I come of age.

Yes to tools, no to hired help.

He could do better with reading context, or the intended personality of a character. Kadzar felt like Zrallin had more of a not-so-friendly rivalry with Miriam, and Weirdsound made it absolute hatred. I wanted my character to be more of a calm type, but for some reason he's making Caboose really aggressive.
You have a pretty straightforward character though, so that's probably why you're not finding anything that doesn't fit what you intended.

Under the current mechanic I am using it is impossible for Dusk to fail a gathering task of average difficulty. Baring him getting murdered by cavern creatures he will find three to five bunches of plants on a typical 12 hour night turn. Of course the dice have been very, very, very nice about not getting people murdered by cavern creatures.

Calm. Gotcha. If you stop posting 10's and playing with the demonic embodiment of depravity and violent vice I should be able to make that work.

I only knew that he was a demon, I don't remember any of the stuff about depravity. If you hadn't noticed, I usually only offer him things or accept his offers to further my own goals. I'll probably just use the staff to learn how to enchant/un-enchant stuff.
If I can manage that, then I'm giving them both to Karratan for reforging into a better combat staff and dagger.

Well Demons and Depravity go together like Bacon and Peanut Butter....

Thats the fun part. The demons only want to give and revive what further their goals. Guess your character found out he isn't cut out for blood magic is all.

I never practice blood magic, and the things I lose are all skills I don't even have the proper items for. I was actually kind of happy you let me get rid of shields and bows.

Um, why NOT. You've got a direct line to the emissaries of Hell, already sold your soul, might as well use blood magic, right?
Go kill those ogres for us! :P

Since when did I sell my soul? I just started talking to a door one day when I was aiming for learning enchantments. I wouldn't have continued talking to them if I hadn't thought of the nickname "door acquaintance."
