Pretty much all the ponies on Earth fics are of the "humans are horrible bastards, ponies are beacons of light, innocence, and purity" variety. Not that there isn't some truth in that, but not enough to justify every single one of them being that way. The one well-written exception to that I can recall is the one (can't recall the title) which has Equestria in the Americas, and revolves around filly Twilight and Napoleon's son becoming good friends and presumable changing European history.

Liked it, but it's hard to know what to name it if you dont know the plot, but I dont want it to be spoiled do I?

I hardly have any idea how I'm going to write it myself. I'm thinking that I'm just going to let the story tell itself as it flows out and hope it comes out well. I may use terminology or other stuff that isn't understandable from a not-me perspective, so if I include something confusing, let me know.

How did they get to Earth?

They have a portal between their planet and Earth.

There won't be a recursion from them seeing themselves, but it will psyche them out. It's one of the few things I have planned, and it may hold a fairly large amount of significance in the story. Or it may not. Time shall tell.

Edit: Got some more done. Hopefully this won't turn into one of my "too long, didn't finish" projects that dot my history.
