Hasbro is making awful choices in their MLP marketing and sales efforts. Look at the anime merchandise market: high quality models, lifesize dolls, bedsheets and pillowcases, plushies...there's a huge market and it's extremely lucrative. If I'm right, the show is just advertisement for the toyline. If that's true, then technically the show is the inaccurate one I think.

But in all seriousness, Hasbro could very easily make a low-volume run of high quality MLP merch, because there are plenty of us that would lay down cash for it, and quite likely more than a few kids that would convince their parents to, as there are already parents out there that buy expensive toys for their children. Think those massive lego sets and playsets, etc. I'm sure that a high quality ponifigure couldn't cost much more than a MLP playset, for example.

Yes, Hasbro needs to realize that this isn't just a run of the mill toy line. Get smart about what you make for us, and we'll buy it. *Sigh* I guess they're too used to selling cheap stuff to 6 year-olds, to break out of their little kiddie corner of the market.
