The coloring on this one was a pain. And I just now noticed I forgot the eyelashes.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to do the pony's walk cycle... same trouble I had when I did my first human walk cycle.

In other news, all of my friends now watch MLP. Yay!

I was looking at my pony sprite, thinking of how to start animating, and I noticed the leg looked weird...
So I tweaked them. How do they look?

(Removed the shading on this one, too (it also still looks strange)(refixed))

The rear legs should be bending slightly inwards, and the front line of the hip shouldn't be as long/bend inward like that(compare). Otherwise I think you're all set.

Have you come up with any names yet?

As for names, the bottom one is named "Rosie Thorns," but the top one, I don't know. I was going to call him Icy Dreams, but with his cutie mark, I'm not sure.
I've also finally started animating Rosie. One frame done. :O
Done. Suffers from stiffness and too few frames. I was hoping I could get away with only six frames. :\

I'm glad you liked it And seeing your drawing, I'm considering to start using my scanner. I'll plug it up and see how the quality comes out this evening.

This week I'll experiment more with different positions and angles. I was planning to gradually flip the view turnways, but instead I got to experiment with inking and coloring.
And looking into the future, I'll have one problem when I might/will start doing more elaborate drawings... I don't really know how to draw anything but ponies.
Drawing tutorials. I'll need more of 'em.
