EDIT: Well, I hate double posting. Maybe someone will read this in retrospect or something. I dunno.

Anyway, it's now not April the first, which means I'm goign to have to think about allowing people the ability to use their own characters again. However, I'm rather surprised to say... It was quite an interesting success. Turned into a non-canon themed event, rather than a shout at Fayrik for being mean session!

So. When are we starting the My Little Pony MUD? (Or, more like it... Where is the one someone's inevitably already started.)

I actually have a friend in the Twitter group who is working on making a pony MUD in C#.

Not only are ponies awesome, ponyfans are awesome too. I'm a bit short on cash right now, and I kinda need money so I can get gas so I can go to classes this next week.

I mentioned this situation on the forum I set up as a backstage area for the TwitterPonies, and asked for just $20.

Instead, I got $50.

I absolutely love this community.

Part of me feels that it's ridiculous to feel that way, but a larger part of me grew up in the era of the original my little pony. The schism of boys and girls television. Somewhere deep inside there is a part of me that says it's taboo, that there is a huge social stigma against a boy watching a girl's cartoon. I've seen, felt, and regrettably even dealt out some of the ridicule involved in such a situation. It's not something easily ignored.
