Tomorrow is last episode until probably the fall, or however long it takes for season 2 to start.

Not having a pony episode to look forward to in the weekend will make me a sad panda pony.

Also Season 2 is said to be much crazier and may or may not have Weird Al in it.

I wonder how crazy it can get...

According to the MLP: FiM wiki the episode air 13:30 GMT-4. It currently has daylight savings, though. Anyway, the net result is that it airs in about an hour, which means 17:30 GMT.

So was anyone else disappointed by this episode? It featured the only musical number that I don't like, the plot was obvious and at times seemed a bit contrived. Fluttershy seemed to be acting completely out of character and there seemed to be no reason why these animals were scared of her other than "Because the plot demands it!"

I wouldn't say it was terrible but it was definitely my least favourite and suffered for following one of the best episodes. A very meh ending to the season. Ah well, looking forward to season 2 all the same.

One thing that I've discovered while drawing thou: Following the rules strictly will not end up looking like the show. The actual show flays fairly fast and lose with whatever works at the time, and the only way to figure out how is to step through it and look at still frames and such.

Yeah, it was kinda meh, but I did enjoy the psychotic Fluttershy. Out of character for sure, but precisely because of that I found it very funny. The plot was completely non-existent, though. In other episodes the characters are actually trying to accomplish some goal, whereas in this one they basically just cock about pointlessly for twenty minutes. Overall a disappointing season finale to be sure.

I don't know, personally I thought it was ok. Not great, but not bad either, it was ok. It did suffered from being right after a fantastic episode, and from being the last episode too (thus setting the quality bar demanded fairly high) and from having parts of scenario the scenarists had to fit in or something. But the last five minutes made it an ok episode because they were quite fun. Oh, and learning that Celestia plotted everything too

Edit: Another fault: the neck should flow with the back of the head. If I get a pen for inking and some good prncils for coloring, the next one might get pretty nice.

As for saying Fluttershy was out of character, I'm not so sure she was. If you think about it, the reason they ran away was because she was imposing herself on them. Animals hate it when people impose on them, and who can blame them. I've also noticed that a lot of children, when around animals, cannot stop themselves from imposing on them.
I'm sure everyone must have seen it before. It's quite common. If Fluttershy was too excited - and she was - then that's pretty much how animals would react. She just didn't react very well to them running way.

Actually, I think you found everything that looked off on that picture. At least, to give any better analysis, I'd need to see another drawing which you haven't looked at so critically first.
