I've already got one, and trust me: it IS worth it. Basically you're choosing between booze/junkfood money for two or three weeks, or some awesome shirts. No real choice there, eh?

I should thank whoever posted the whatchamahoey fanfic back some pages ago. I've wasted a good part of the day reading it (more than six hours) since I woke up this morning, mostly non-stop in between becoming enraged at the flies that keep poking around my face. So much for getting stuff done. Oh wait, I wasn't going to do that anyway.

But hey, I never said it was a bad thing. I've never been one to read fanfiction (ever), but I sometimes feel stupid for being that way. (Namely when I randomly read one and realize how awesome they can be. Take now, for an example) I think I'm always in fear of the crapton of horribly written stories that I expect will randomly get dumped on me with every link clicked.

KindaEdit: Oh yeah, Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying was the name. Isn't it amazing how quickly one can forget the name of something they were reading seconds ago? That's not just me, right?

Actually, searching the ED archives with a filter for only 6star stories works pretty well, as those tend to be held to a standard similar to published authors.

Not that that's saying much.

Well, I thought that since Twi's hair is straight, she would need the least amount of work to look right, so she'd be an easy pony to start on.

It turns out she's actually pretty bucking hard. Now I get to use a needle to separate each and every plug of hair, then thatch them.

My inner lazy is screaming like it's being murdered.

Good to know then. Most All of the fanfictions I've read have been from random links recommended in random places. I've never tackled a list of them head on, so I wouldn't know this stuff. Maybe I will get around to bothering with it sometime soon.

Also, don't you just hate how stupid things seem to make a lot sense when you're tired?

Tell that to every post I've made on Bay12 in the wee hours of the morning. I seem to inevitably regret every single one, which is the main reason why I stopped posting on almost everything serious/that gets me angry.  :-X

Well, I think Rarity would be...fairly displeased with my hackjob on poor Twi's hair.

I messed up the other side though by cutting it too short, so she's going to be in profile pose until I build up the patience and insanity to try and redo all the plugs with new hair.

That seems like a rather insubstantial amount of hair, at least compared to the show. Any way to, say add extra plugs or something? Maybe involving delicate pony surgery?
