The English language has no correct way of spelling due to the fact that there is no organisation that can actually declair how words are spelt or pronounced officially. (not even the dictionaries)
Extending this path of Knowledge leads to concluding that everyone is arguing about an irrelervent topic due to the fact that there is no right or wrong answer. (Even if you spell Pony, poinay) (This still doesn't prevent  being judged though)
Also English is a germanic based language not latin based. Just becasue the Normans conquered england and the normans spoke some kind of French (which is latin based) does not make Latin rules apply to english even though the English language got  a bunch of new words out of it(Another irrelervent argument)

Now can we get back to the important stuff like Good fanfiction or season two speculation

THE PLURAL OF PEGASUS IS PEGASOI. IT IS NOT PEGASI. THAT'S LIKE SAYING THE PLURAL OF OCTOPUS IS OCTOPI. IT IS NOT. IT IS NOT NOW, NOR HAS IT EVER BEEN THE CASE. IT IS A GREEK SECOND DECLENSION NOUN OF THE FIRST TYPE. THAT MEANS THE PLURAL IS +oi, NOT +i. +i IS LATIN SECOND DECLENSION MASCULINE. NOT GREEK. SO PLEASE USE THE PROPER ENDINGS.
