The French artistic duo has been questioning scientific methods and tools for 20 years now.

"I had the feeling of being extra-human," explained the artist. "I was not in my usual body. I was hyper-powerful, hyper-sensitive, hyper-nervous and very diffident. The emotionalism of an herbivore. I could not sleep. I probably felt a bit like a horse.'

Riiiight. So how about doing some actual science and trying it again, this time double-blinded? I think that would be much more insightful still. ;)

They could dilute it to increase the efficiency.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Why...why did someone do that? I was fine before. But you have (assuming that was done by you) just given a lot more rule 34 fodder, right in this thread.
Not to be incredibly late, but after re-reading some of the pages I actually understood what you meant. 1) It wasn't made by me and 2) I wasn't trying to add rule 34 fodder.

So here I am, the contents of the "Epic" folder from the 26k pony images.
Gotta warn you, creepy images ahoy, view at your own risk. Seriously, like, nightmare fuel. And a... Terrifying rendition of Fluttershy.

Oh look, a duplicate. Silly person whoever put together the 26k images.

Maybe it's parasitic. It never loses its flavor because you eventually die from having your nutrients stolen by it.

Awesome, it's great to know that the pony pack is still going.
Perhaps a place holder while you work...?
As for actual mane ideas, I'd love to see Bon-bon's and (maybe) Lyra's mane styles implemented. Especially since I've got a character called Bonbon!
Maybe a few others from the show? (Like the mane six?)

Oh, and I forgot to mention.
Pinkie Pie's has to be included. (If it isn't already, that is.)

By the way, on the subject of the pony sprites... (Oh boy, didn't realise I had this much to say about the pack! Sorry if this gets long.)
You didn't add any tails since the sprite ran out of room. But the NPCs have tails. Now, while I understand that the NPC sprites are more static and thusly may be open to more manipulation, I'm wondering if what you did to get the NPCs to have tails might be applicable to player characters?
Secondly (again, I apologize), is that the Wonderbolts(/Shadowbolts) outfit has static hair. Again, I know there's a reason for this, but the Familiar wig uses the hair from your character. I was wondering if the Wonderbolts(/Shadowbolts) outfit could do that as well?
Of course, if it worked like that there'd need to be a Wonderbolts mane too.

Nice ideas. I have been looking at the show for inspiration, too, y'know. ;)
As for the mane 6, I'd probably only be able to add Fluttershy's and Twilight's because the snout and the horn hug the edge of the canvas and I can't go past that. There's also a "Rainbow Dash"/"Derpy" hairstyle. (In quotes, because it somewhat resembles their manes, but not entirely.)

Ninja'd
Pinkie's hair is impossible, because as I said above, her hair extends past the horn. If It's Pinkamena's hair, then it's possible. :D

For the tails, I've explained a bunch of times to a bunch of different people, but I can't do it because of how Terraria handles character sprites and yada yada... basically, go past the preset canvas, everything their gets cut off. There was a problem with that with the original fish-bowl.

I'm not entirely sure if I understand what you're asking me to do with the Wonderbolt/Shadowbolt helmet. If I make it like the familiar wig, where it's nothing, you're character would be bald. :P And the Wonderbolts'(/Soarin') mane is number 4.

EDIT: I partially misread your post, hold on...
The NPC method won't work on the character because I'm able to freely expand their canvas without worry of it getting cut-off.

Yeah, I think it's something to do with the fact that characters have dynamic clothing, but NPCs don't. (Thus why things like Zombies can't expand either - they get Dynamic clothes too.)

Pinkamena's hair is a good idea too, but if you can't get all of Pinkie's hair, would it be possible to have a kind of "abbreviated" version? (Such as smaller puffs, and a shorter spike at the front?)

As for Soarin's hair, I did think that was in there, but my point of it was that I was hoping there'd be a way of getting the hair to show up behind the armour.

Oh, and I know this shouldn't strictly be in this thread, but since we're here, I might as well ask you here rather than making a comment in the already busy Terraria thread and just hoping to catch your attention...
But, I noticed in the aforementioned thread, there were some more door sprites released in the teaser, and I've searched high and low. I can't find any alternate looking doors anywhere but in that teaser... Since you work with the sprites, have you seen any new door sprites in the game files? Or is there just the one door for now?

(Zombies can expand. The Groom and whatnot have separate, taller sprite-sheets. C: )

That could work, for Pinkie's hair. It's not so much the tallness but the twirl in the front.

There isn't a way to do that, because the Familiar hair is coded to not make the hair vanish when you put it on.

New door sprites? You mean the ones in the new version? Or do you mean that line-up of furniture Tiy released? There isn't anything unused in Terraria's files that I can notice, so I guess there's one door.
By the way, I've got a thread in the forums.
EDIT: Also, I haven't checked the pony thread there since the second on got locked. ::)
