Anyway, I got a dwarf bone spear, Which I thought was cool anyway. His family disagreed. Also useless as a weapon, so captain of the guard it is.

wow i have never seen such a minor thread necro'd much less my own. I dont remember which version I was playing but 40d was before my time

i dunno, spears are supposed to be better at getting through armor than other stuff. sure, you wouldn't want to use that on an iron colossus maybe, but it might work out vs goblins in copper armor or something =S

Copper armour > Bone

So basically give it to a spear lord and watch the Dwarf cut through every single bit of uncovered flesh on the invading goblins with the bones of his dead friend.
