This is the epic thing I ever saw in DF

I was planning to build a mega project, an above ground Dwarfquarium, with a major river, sea and volcano when I hit unpause...

My FPS dropped for a few seconds, and later got back. Ok.

So I check the topography. Very bad. I didn't noticed how cliffy it was.
I was almost sure to abandon the embark, when I saw the river.

The river was SUCKING the water sea.

Normally, the river would feed the sea, but instead, its making the water LEAVE.

That is some pretty intense tidal current you got there...
Seems simple, but have you checked to make sure it's not just emptying into a cavern? Because that could 'suck.' (OOH, man, I'm impressed with myself right now.)
