World Size Question ???

I know that larger worlds take more to resources during world generation but do they also have an effect on performance during normal gameplay? I know alot of the mechanics are simply simulated for world events while in fortress mode.

I don't think there is an effect on fort speed. If there is, it's very minor.

I can't see it having any effect on local play in fort mode at all.

Makes (seasonal) saves take longer, but that should be all.
