The sandworm in this particular battle is long enough to reach the helicopter, if it stays within ideal weapon range.

Missles to the innards could probably take out a few segments, but a sandworm can lose a lot of segments before it dies.

Scar could fly a fire-fighting water plane, perhaps...

Or get it to swallow a water tank truck.

Apparently having a redundant creature entry causes the game to say, "Oh, look, it's crazy world now. Nothing makes sense! Alligators live in houses!"

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Uh, what is the internal effect of a battleship round in a Sandworms organs? Just asking. How easy is it to rip up a sandworms organs?
It doesn't actually have organs, really. Just one digestive tract.

You see, what I don't like about the sandworm it basically trumps any human opponents in the game, with the Giga-Fortress being one of the only possible opponents that could beat it, because, hey, I don't think any of the human opponents here carry nuclear bombs.

Uh, it's a Sandworm. That lives in the desert. That can eat TANKS and be completely fine for the next course. Napalm would just be heartburn for that thing.

That is small amounts.

Yeah, Sandworm wins here because everything a single modern military opponent could do wouldn't have enough bang to kill it. A guy with superpowers maybe, but just normal military stuff that a single guy could use short of pressing a button on a large cache of explosives set up by somebody else would only take out a few sections.

Firetruck would not work. For one thing, you must consider the setting. This is in the middle of a desert for crying out loud. A firetruck is not exactly the most manuverable thing, and would be basically immobile in a desert. Also, recall that the vehicle has to be within reason, and how the hell is a MERCANARY going to get a fire truck from civil authorities, when it could be better used for saving lives?

Firefighting helicopter, then.

And he steals it, leaving a note that he will return it when he's done using it.
