Artyom and AC slowly make their way towards each other, Artyom stealthily slipping past his enemies avoiding conflict and gathering weapons, while Axe Cop just hacks through the mutants/commies/nazis/BAD GUYS.
By the time the two get anywhere near each other, Artyom has collected a powerful assortment of weaponry while Axe Cop has fallen back on his axe and blood powers to become Nosalis Axe Cop.
Axe Cop makes his way through the streets, determined to find and cut off the heads of all the bad guys.
A pain in the back of his right shoulder alerts him to his enemy, and he turns while pulling out the knife.
Artyom is intimidated by this figure before him, having seen him tear through the legions of monsters, both human and mutant, as he approached. He pulls another knife, cursing at the bad aim of the first.
Axe Cop eyes the ruined buildings on each side. He knows the assailant is on the left, but there are any number of spots it could be hiding. He waits.
The figure has stopped, letting Artyom get his first clear view of his opponent. He wears a buttoned shirt, blue soaked with red, and a strange black hat. His face is that of a human, but his body is closer to a creature of the tunnels. He hold an axe, and Artyom shudders slightly thinking about what would happen if that axe got anywhere near him. He puts his knife away. This calls for something heavier.
The arrow sends a red, furious pain down Axe Cop's entire body, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that he knows where it came from. The mutant blood powers afforded to him allowing his ears to hear the soft hiss of the enemy's weapon, he runs forward.
Artyom panics. A shot from an over-pumped Hellsing should have at least crippled him, but he's moving like the arrow wasn't even there! Branishing his Kalash 2012, the young man prepares for a closer fight.
The pain is overwhelming. Axe Cop knows that he would be dead if not for the mutant blood, and even with that he feels light-headed.
His axe feels heavy, but it comforts him all the same. Up stairs, left, through the door, his powerful senses both human and mutant guide him.
The creature bursts into his hiding place, and Artyom unloads clip after clip. It staggers, drops to the ground, stays down. Artyom keeps firing.
Only when no ammo remains does he let his arms slacken, his gun drop.
