Alright, is anyone else planning on signing up for the Alpha?

It looks like they're looking for groups to sign up under "team names," so I figured we could be team "Bay12" .  We'll also need a team leader.

Yeah, unfortunately. Sid Meier has decided he wants to try a Civ game on Facebook.

... My brain just exploded.  If he decided to make the next Alpha Centauri on a social networking site, I fear that I might actually have an aneurism and die at my desk.

I'd like to see how it turns out. If it is as good as Travian, but with a timeline and tech tree, I could probably get into it.

But facebook makes me feel dirty.

Alright, well, if we get five or more people who want to do it, and pick one of them to be the team's "leader," then I think team Bay12 should try it out.

im game, i log into facebook once a day. I hear lots of people griefing FB but its part of my job.
