Call of Duty: Black Ops, still hasn't fixed it's connectivity issues.
It's frustrating.

I hate that I ran out of cars to collect in Gran Turismo III A-Spec.

...What? Don't look at me like that. It happened years ago, but it actually happened.

How about you, specifically, stop making threads?

Morrigan Disapproves -1
Shadowlord Disapproves -50

Why are you attacking me? :(

I think its because you have made 11 or so threads this week. Not that I care, because some of them have been interesting

Reading the Shogun 2 thread reminded me of my hungarian campaign in Medieval 2.
I didn't want to expand north, so I allied Poland. They had one of my princesses and I had one of theirs. When they got in war with Denmark I even supported them with gold becouse I thought poles would be better neighbours than danes and I wanted to keep my norhtern border quiet. I was also a lot more powerful than they were, but still, while fighting the danes on the other frontier, they sent a couple of low-tier units to besiege one of my cities.

I quit playing that game shortly after. It wasn't quite a ragequit, more like facepalmquit.

You seem to be sucking up all of the possible topics of discussion and putting them into singular threads..
But if he doesnt make a new topic every day how else will he get everyone talking about wang? :P

Exactly! Without threads, how will I get my daily supply of alien wing wong?

I think its because you have made 11 or so threads this week. Not that I care, because some of them have been interesting

And, is that a crime? :p

I would like to complain about Silent Storm. Specifically, when I'm playing Silent Storm, I regret that I could be playing Jagged Alliance 1.13 instead.

So why won't I play that instead you ask? Simple. I know that if I switch then I will start regretting that I'm not playing Silent Storm.

Both games have flaws that the other doesn't have.

I get frustrated with the weak AI in S2 that, although it outnumbers you will never take advantage and rush your cover position with a human wave, that way 6 guys can reliably assault a building occupied by thirty to forty armed hostiles. When I lose a battle and have to reload I usually feel that I was duped by the dice rather than that I have made a tactical error. The weapons are kind of meh and lack the variety that is in JA with the tons of guns setting, and oh, there is no body armor, or clothes. I get angry with the WW2 setting which I hate(especially with the scifi/alt history bullshit later on), the lighthearted fictional war that takes place in Arulco is just so much better. I'm bored to death by the strategic map and pre-mission preparations that feel like they could all be handled in just one menu instead of different load zones, while in JA the most important decisions are made in the strategic map.

If I were to start playing JA however I would immediately miss S2's gorgeous graphics, 3d map that lets you adjust the view, and most of all, that awesome physics engine and destructible buildings. Only in S2 can you hear a hostile soldier creaking in the attic of a building and order your heavy machine gunners to unload full-auto over their heads, breaking through the roof and killing him. Only in S2 can you decide that instead of fighting a hangar full of mecha nazis you will simply plant enough explosives at its foundations to raze the entire hangar in one controlled explosion, killing all inside.

Both games are excellent but playing one makes me think of the other.

It is regrettable that games cannot have babies because if these two combined their genes then the result may well have been perfection.

Well, the last time Jagged Alliance 3 was announced (in any coherent fashion and with screenshots), it was supposed to be made on the Silent Storm engine. Although that might've also meant the worst of both, but I dunno.

Yeouch.  304 jitter?  Is something chewing on your ethernet cable?
I get a 46ms ping, 2ms jitter and a 96% packet loss. More sucky internets!

I am not attacking you. You have shown a pattern of behavior which I consider to have contributed a great deal to the recent decline of Other Games, most notably over the past week or so, and its movement towards becoming much more like what General Discussion is - namely, a hellhole. I'm asking you to adjust your behavior. You are not the only person doing this, but are the most notable, I think.

Threads that fit the pattern:
What Awesome Thing Did You Do Last?
Which Game Are You Waiting For?
4x Games? (Because we really needed a 10th or 20th thread about them, which in this case doesn't even discuss them. You splurged a list of games in your thread-starting post and said, or perhaps I telepathically heard you think over the Intertron, "What games did I forget, guys? God I love increasing my post count by making pointless threads, and helping everyone else do the same by letting them post replies which consist of lists of games, or short meaningless junk responses! :D") Note that I don't dislike 4x games, but rather junk threads containing junk posts. You should have just looked up any of the previous threads, and if you wanted to know if there were new 4x games, necro-posted one of them. It'd be better than what you did instead.
How did you last make money? (Eugenitor's, not yours)

Why didn't you name them 'Awesome Things That You Did Today', 'Games That You Are Waiting For Today', and 'Things That Are 4X Games Today'? The whole point of a doomsday machine is lost if you keep it a secret! Why didn't you tell the world, eh?
