Since people always seem to bitch and moan when you complain in their threads about the game the thread is about, I figured the next best idea would be a thread where they NEVER HAVE TO LOOK. If you don't want to see a game you like being complained about, then don't come in here.
1. Don't complain about people complaining. If you see something you disagree with, count to them and THEN post.
2. Don't argue, just discuss. If someone says something is bad, then that is their opinion. Present an alternative to their opinion, don't insult etc.
3. Remember: All games suck somehow.
So, feel free to complain about games from now on. :p
I've been playing Pirates, Vikings and Knights 2, and I'm noticing a trend in terms of win percentage. All three factions seem to win equally on booty maps (where you steal chests from other teams), despite the most common booty map being one that starts the Knights at a 200% handicap to the other factions. The way the gamestyle works allows all factions the ability to win.
But, in the other game modes, it seems to go Pirates > Vikings > Knights in terms of win percentage. I suspect this is mainly because pirates have a pair of units that have rather power special attacks (compared with the sucky Knights specials and the decent Viking ones) and have long cooldown weapons that are ridiculously powerful when brought into other game modes, whilst still having relatively powerful normal attacks, too.
No one who regularly plays those teams seems to admit this ("lol noob no wai fagget" etc) except for a select.
My question is: How can the development team (which is admittedly a modding team but eh) fuck this up so badly? Do they only play booty wars or something? It's easy to tell, straight off the bat, that blasting kegs that destroy other players entirely are a bad idea in map modes with single lives, especially when they don't do friendly fire. Oh, whatever.
Now it's your turn, ladies and gents! Complain about games to us! :p
