Unit was disbanded on terms of military misconduct.
Someone slugged a silo, evidently. They are scattered over the world.

Once I'm in New Mexico I coordinate with state troopers and local PDs to put up road blocks and inspection points along the major highways and freeways. Orders for them are to keep an eye out for the men of interest, but only to report location, and not attempt to detain as the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.

I attempt to get in touch with the other player agents to coordinate efforts in the southern US areas.

Have secretary hire a PI in the SF area to attempt to get a better fix on the person of interest in that area.

The guy tells you that he had an oval face and was wearing a yellow wig under a cap. He spoke in a fairly hurried voice, he seemed to be rushing somewhere. In the middle of the night. He's thin and evidently carries around lots of cash, for he saw many 100's in his wallet.

He lets you check a bill. It's real and fresh, all right.


You go to a Biker Bar on the Strip. No one has seen anyone of that description, but there was a squad of unidentified folks moving through the night. You are told to look toward San Francisco.

I'll go ahead and start driving out towards California, stopping in at any likely rest stops/restaurants/whatever to inquire after the three men. Hopefully my tracking skills will help me to pick up at least one of their trails.

Call my secretary to get a status update of the investigation in SF that we are bankrolling. Inquire about any further information our gov't contacts have given us.

You go on a road trip to california.
No-one of that sort cane to any shops or restaurants. However, there was a group of three motorcyclists who came to the Purple Beer  pub. One of them looked like the Entity X.
You then notice a suitcase of things in a corner. As you approach the owner looks a bit nervous and starts to pull out something (cash?) from his pocket.
As you open the case you see various grenades, jamming equipment, and assorted weapons.

You then look up and see the owner pointing a gun at you.
As you drop the suitcase, you notice the gun's safety is still locked (but the owner doesn't notice)

What do you do?

((Note: killing civilians is not recommended. Get some cash/help by turning them in))

Hold my hands palms up, stretched up. "Hey now, buddy, let's not get too hasty, okay? Clearly this is beyond you. What do they have over, on you? Whatever it is, I promise you I can get you out of it."

I casually take a few steps closer to him. "How about we put the gun down, and talk things through like rational human beings, okay?"

(If he hasn't put the gun down by this point): Take a couple more steps so I'm just outside arms reach. "I'm one of the good-guys. You can trust me."

(Still no gun down?) Make a quick lunge for the gun, wresting it from his hands. Quickly eject the clip and the round in the chamber, and throw the gun across the room. Slap cuffs on the owner and then sit him down at the counter.

"Exactly. For the first part, you are right. As I said, I'm here for the money. They told me to slow down anyone on their trail. Such as you."

The gun clicks as he tries to fire it. You disarm him, kick his stomach in (he's now on the floor clutching his body), and throw the (now unloaded) gun across the room. You then slap cuffs on the dude and get him to face you.
"Okay, you're busted. Info now."

He complies (in pain) and tells you what you know. Except that they left 25 minutes ago and that there is a time-delay on the suitcase, which is a bomb.

Fuuuu...

Time is ticking... you don't know how much you have left.
Also, owner worth taking with you? Bomb disposal squad? Dropping it into the toiler? Salvaging? what?

Sid, happy with his new information, pays his bills, says good-bye to some friends and heads on out of the Bar.

He checks his supplys in his backpack and hops on his Bike

He then hits the road, scouting out the Highways between San Francisco and Las Vegas, focusing on the less traveled (And less known roads) Before ending up in San Francisco.

Fueled by adrenaline I'll make a break for the door, dragging the owner behind me by the cuffs (and most likely dislocating at least one of his shoulders while I'm at it). Get behind my armored hummer and throw him in through the rear door, crawling in after him. Give him a boot to the stomach to keep him on the floor and crawl into the drivers seat. Get the vehicle into gear and pull back a few hundred yards. Once I'm in a safer position call the local PD and alert them to the potential of there being a bomb in the establishment, notify my gov't contacts of the information I recovered, and then interrogate the man as to which direction the suspects went.

You go and skid off the road and he goes out of sight in moments. He throws a stun grenade at you but you catch it and throw it into a nearby stream.

You rush out of the building ASAP with the owner dangling behind you and as you turn around the windows go out the frames and the explosion knocks you back a bit. You're slightly singed but have plenty of strength.
You look at the owner and see a look of bewilderment on his face. And pain too, since you kicked in his stomach twice (his arms are still fine). You get in your hummer and drive off to the police. You then talk to the man. ((interrogation skills now at level 1))
