What's the mod scene for the game like? Never got invested enough to find out.

Most of my kills were accidents and fiber wire. A couple syringe kills, of course, and the occasional miscellaneous object.
Guns leave behind bullet casings. I like the whole "no evidence at all" thing.

(though you think a professional assassin would pick up his spent casings)
Or use a weapon that doesn't eject the casings?

"Very unlikely" would be my guess.  Hardcoded scripts, I am thinking.

Much like Ghost Master, which makes me very sad :(

The final ending is as awesome as it is cruel.

I beat it for the first time a couple months back after getting my hands on it again. My dad had beat it years ago, and didn't know about the final ending. Needless to say, he was jealous and upset that he missed that.

What difficulty do you guys play on? I've never played on anything less than the highest difficulty, though to be fair, I do that with all my games (except the MGS series, because fuck European Extreme mode).

I tend to play on Normal difficulty, because I like quicksaves, because I HATE HATE HATE redoing time-consuming things (like waiting for the guard to go to the right place...wait...wait...wait...wait...Whoops my perfectly-planned sedation was imperfectly executed, time to replay the whole level!)  I am thinking of bumping it up to the 3-save difficulty, to take advantage of better enemy AI...but, fewer quicksaves make me a sad panda.

I love Hitman. 47 is like Picard inserted with badassery, I want to have his bald babies burst forth through my chest like cuddly little aliens, wearing tiny suits with a tiny red tie. I actually think Blood Money is the best game in the serie, though the first two were not too bad either. They just had several shootout missions which I found boring. I agree that the tutorial is retarded, though - but I guess it tries to show all sides of the game.

I've heard there is another Hitman coming, I hope it is a good one and not dumbed down.

I just saw this when I was fact checking my posts. Supposed to come out sometime in the last quarter. It got me excited.

I get why you guys bash the tutorial, but you have to remember that it's trying to teach you as many mechanics as it can. Mind you, I thoroughly dislike the fact that some confrontations cannot be done stealthily.

I'm hoping that it just means there's some hidden, super-stealthy option that we're not seeing, like a hidden power box somewhere, or a better way to pull a guard away.

The parts I can't see any stealth option to are the ones where you learn to hide bodies and learn to use meat shields. Past that, I can stealth my ass off. I love hammering everyone.

Okay, these are pretty awesome. Looks similar to how I play.

EDIT:
At video 12 now. The mansion was a fun level to play. I actually managed to get Silent Assassin in it on normal. That was hard, but a fun challenge nonetheless. Took at least an hour though.

Firstly,Codename 47 was crap.
I still own the damn game. There were uncountable bugs and glitches also not to mention the vague mission objectives.
Silent assassin was 10000x better than codename 47 but then they reduced the quality on contracts.
Blood money was better in some aspects of the game(stealth for example) and making silent assassin runs is much more difficult than in hitman 2.
In hitman 2,you could fiber wire anyone if the person was not civilian whereas in blood money, any thing other than accidents or anesthetic is counter as a kill which is not acceptable
