I nominate MacGyver for the Dwarf side. Because he can kill you with duct tape, tweezers, a ball pen and an old radio.

I second this.
Oh god yes.

MOAR ELVES

He may be short and hairy, but he fights for nature and speaks for the trees!

Don't start forest fires or he'll tear your goddamn face off.

DORF COMMANDER

Only one man can lead the Dorfs, a man so appallingly Dorfy that he was able to build a prosthetic hand and mechanical battle chariot with medieval technology. No, I'm not talking about this guy.

Becouse they would be neutral parties. Goblins would attack both and steal their children. Kobolds would rob both blind and maybe attack every once and awhile if they have to. Humans would get rich by tradeing with both and some humans would sell themselves as mercs.

If goblins did show up, we would shoehorn them into the Dwarf side. They would definitely team up to fight a greater evil.

Elves may be a greater evil, but goblins loath dwarves more than they hate elves. They would stay neutral.

Garret's not a kobold man. Garret doesn't take sides, although he'd probably sabotage and rob the crap out of both sides.
Kobolds try to sabotage and rop the crap out of both elves and dwarves. They love shiny valuable things, he love shiny valuable things. They suck at head on fighting and prefer to sneak and ambush if they attack at all, he sucks at head on fighting and prefers to sneak and ambush if he attacks at all. He's a kobold dude.

Sure, but you're forgetting the whole "I work alone!" thing he's got going. He'd rob the kobolds, too. Also, if you've played the first two games in the thief series, Garret can actually solo five or six guards untouched if you know what you're doing. (And yes, on the hardest difficulties. Maybe I played it too much, though.)

Did anyone ever imply there wouldn't be infighting on the sides? Thats what garret robbing kobolds would essencially be, what he does to keepers, allies with them becouse of one reason or another and robs them blind anyway. I think there would definately be some infighting, Sauron and Lord Aule come to mind, after all Sauron used to work for Aule, before joining Morgoth.

I nominate Black Mage, Thief, and Red Mage the "Light Warriors" Fighter, Red Mage, and Black Mage from Eight Bit Theater for dwarves.

Fighter likes swords and is a complete moron.
Red Mage uses horrendously overcomplicated plans that never work.
Black Mage's Hadoken drains love from the universe whenever he uses it (which he does often). Also, he burns orphanages and cities and there was that one time where he murdered his way into becoming a cobbler and made shoes out of the previous owner's face. There's a lot to say about Black Mage's dwarfiness.

See Kobold Camp, where a kobold thief stole an item from their camp and created a loyalty cascade. (Starts on second page)

i nominate the mycon from the The Ur-Quan Masters... they're giant purple space mushrooms that live in magma planets... there's also the fact that they destroyed a paradise planet inhabited by sirens, probably to harvest their bones

Why has nobody nominated the Tinker Gnomes From D&D for the dwarven side yet? In the first volume of the encylopaedia Magica (A compendium of magic items and artifacts, for the second edition) the second 'apparatus' entry mentions that Tinker Gnomes may be responsible creating it. What is this Apparatus, you may ask. Well, basically it's a giant road paving machine, which basically chews up the ground it runs over superheats it, chemical treats it and then leaves it behind in a kind of trail, and keeps going in a straight line. No Matter What. And it's not limited to one world either. Once fully submerged in ocean water, it randomly warps to another world, drives out of the ocean and resumes making a road until it's fully submerged again. That is truly dwarven.

I think I got it squared away for now. if I left any out, it's due to being of unfit mind.
I'm going to be doing a lot of research for this.

You're going to give a special ability to every single one? :o

So I suppose nominations are closed now. Or do you want to even out the sides first?

Also, will there be infighting between two people on one side who just loath each other? Like the Aule-Sauron thing I mentioned earlier.

Edit:I would also like to put in a last second nomination for Hit-girl and Toph as dwarves if it's allowed.
