All dwarves from any form of fiction ever should obviously be of the dwarf side, but I haven't seen them mentioned yet.
Same with all elves on the elf side.
I will repeat that Eldar and Asari are basicly space elves.
Krogan, Volus, Quarians, and Salarians all have dwarfish traits, but not enough to be consitered true dwarves.
Andilites and possibly Hork-Bajir are elves.
Yeerks seem somewhat dwarfish
Whatever species the Elmist was seemed dwarfy, they liveing in flying crystals, their only game was one where they fucked with the evolution of sentient species, their planet's surface was covered with magma, etc.
Orks seem somewhat dwarfy.
If Romans are dwarves then some of their most hated enemies, Gauls and Britanians, must be elves, especially becouse of the nature worship.

Atreidies and the Fremen for the elves. Sure, the Fremen lived underground, but they had this thing going with the sandworms and nature and all that crap. So they were hippy nomad types. The dwarves get house Harkonnen.

Garret's not a kobold man. Garret doesn't take sides, although he'd probably sabotage and rob the crap out of both sides.

The combine would probably wind up on the dwarves, given the perchant for massive spires and armies and technology in general, which means Gordon Freeman is on the elves side. But the dwarves get striders.

The BOS is dwarven. No question there.

Experimenting with physics is dwarfy, while experimenting with psychology is more Elfish. I'll admit to the Explosive Runes being dwarfy, but magic is really much more of an Elven thing.

The deal with the devil could go isn't really more Elven or Dwarfy. The familicide was dwarfy.

Being androgynous is both an Elven and Dwarfy thing but with Elves it's cause they're all pretty and Dwarfs it's cause they're all manly (moreso in setting that the females dwarfs have beards even in other ones). V is the Elven version.

Overall I'm placing V on the Elf side. Also for the Elf side I'd suggest Elan and Haley. I'd suggest Roy for the Dwarf side.

Kobolds try to sabotage and rop the crap out of both elves and dwarves. They love shiny valuable things, he love shiny valuable things. They suck at head on fighting and prefer to sneak and ambush if they attack at all, he sucks at head on fighting and prefers to sneak and ambush if he attacks at all. He's a kobold dude.

EDIT: To elaborate:  He lives deep underground, has a beard, loves gems, hates when people steal them, and I think the tried to kill a bunch of people.  I don't remember for sure, I was kind of stoned when I watched it, but he definitely made me think of Dwarf Fortress.
