Whoops, I meant squared away as in I've got the suggestions I believe, for the most part. So keep on suggesting.
Everyone is getting an ability, too. Think of them more like the saves in D&D or, in some cases, special attacks or abilities.
To keep it simple, there isn't going to be infighting. Let's say that they all put aside their differences to beat the crap out of the other side.

I'd like to nominate the Warcraft Gnomes for the dwarf side. Highly likely to shout "For Science!" Their inventions do many awesome and weird things while often having a chance of failing hilariously. Gnomeregan is huge and way over engineered. This mountainhome was lost to Fun and their last defense caused even more destruction for themselves than the troggs. Currently a reclaim is in progress. It's like Gnomeregan's design and history is based off a fort made in DF.

Also I didn't see Ed (digger) on the elves side.

well if were gunna divide up azeroth as well:

elves:
night elves, humans, tauren, orcs, dreanai(or however its spelled), worgen
dwarves:
goblins, dwarves, blood elves, gnomes, undead, trolls

this alignment would be verrrrrrrrrrry interesting, and i dunno anymore who to root for

oh and starcraft: terran for dwarves, protoss for elves

Also, the Moses Effect is named after him, and the dwarven name Mosus is based on his name.
