it's a shooter set in a fully destructible 3d voxel based world.  I think it looks cool and is going to be fun to play when it comes out

The only reason I clicked this thread was because of the cool name.

I'll definitely try it out, though.

EDIT: Looks cool. Sucks that it isn't out yet.

What is, it that makes people like me so fascinated by them?

Might be true, IKEA is also like that, But with slightly more advanced assembly methods.

3d and fully destructible? Nice. I mean Cortex Command is fun and all but sometimes I just want to wreck a whole extra dimension.

I was also attracted to this thread because of the awesome name.

It's not that hard without blocks either, have you seen A New Zero? My vote goes to the faux-nostalgic value of blocks.
