Using creatures as reagents/products
« on: January 04, 2011, 07:47:57 pm »

I don't suppose this is possible, seeing how butcher's shops are hardcoded right now, but I was wondering if there is a way to use creatures (either dwarf or tame animal, or perhaps even captured creatures) as ingredients in reactions.

Alternately, and I am almost certain this is not possible, could you have a creature be a PRODUCT of a reaction?  As in, say, a kiln reaction that requires clay and spits out golems?

I'm fairly sure using a creature as a reagent makes the workshop look for a corpse of said creature.

Creatures as products always come out as semi-functioning vermin.
