A warp hole is a matter of science fiction. Nothing more. Barely mentioned anywhere. The closest thing to a warp hole would either be a black hole or a quasar. And I believe that both compress thing into singularities. Killing everyone.

It occured to me that he probably meant a Lorentzian wormhole or Einstein-Rosen bridge.

We have no observational data about them as far as I'm aware, everything we know about them is theory based on mathematics. We don't actually know if they would be usable.

Even if they are 'too small' as you said, you never know what super science we'll come up with later on to subvert or side-step what we see right now as the laws of physics.

Maybe Nuclear Missiles in space? Or Missiles which just get reasonably close to enemies then explode into LASERS AND KILL EVERYTHING NEARBY.

That would be something like a bomb-pumped x-ray laser missile. I think they were popular in starfire fiction.

I really doubt it. It would be a lot easier to use hydrogen-based fusion warheads if I understand it correctly.

They use a fission explosion to kick the fusion reaction off IIRC. The fusion of hydrogen still provides most of the energy release.

Well no shit. However, plasma still is a blob of hot gas. There is no practical way to shoot a blob of gas.

Fusion or antimatter would be the best explosive. Missiles would have to have guidance computers to ensure they don't go haring off into the middle of no where.

 That's a railgun. And again, it only works in knifing range.

 And if anything explosions would be more effective in space. There is no air for the explosive force to expand outwards with, only the shell of the explosive and the hull of the ship it blew up on.

Yep, kinetic weapons are find against anything with a constant speed and course.

They are almost useless beyond short range against anything that can maneuver.
