stop it guys. ok the last 4x game i bought was SW: Empire At war which was pretty good though its a weird concept on how to build your units but Galactic Conquest kicked ass.

Agreed, I love EAW. I just wish you could do 3-way games in the expansion with one rebel, one empire, and one consortium player.

i just wanted to say sorry for the quote Pyramid ,

You lot are posting alot of space ones but have left out all the others,

theres the total war series ( alot of you may disagree but i dont cause your still trying to take over the world). and mostly Shogun 2 cause that more focuses on your units and politics and is quite alot deeper now.

also there is hearts of iron 2 and 3 ( but i suggest number 2)

and theres EU3 and its Expansions

I'm not sure if those are 4X. 4X is eXplore, eXpand, eXploit and eXterminate. You don't really explore in those games, aside from perhaps the new world and terra incognita in EU. You primarily expand.
