Someone on another forum just messaged me with the phrase:

 "I am a monument, to all your sins. This one is machine and nerve, and has it's mind concluded. This one is but flesh and faith, and is the more deluded. Resignation is my virtue, like water I ebb and flow, defeat is merely the addition of time, to a sentence I never deserved, but you imposed."

I have the first sentence on my sig. No I have no idea why he messaged me this. Yes I know where it is from.

No this probably isn't the right place for this.

I need an epic comeback, quick. Along the same vein as this, maybe, but from an opposing perspective.

Well I would've sent the War Is Written By The Victors phrase I've heard, a Metro 2033 phrase such as the one about the "Wicked Phenomenon", or possibly this:

"Instead of causing us to remember the past like the old monuments, the new monuments seem to cause us to forget the future."

Can't think of any good ones right now.
Other possible quotes:
