Round 10 - Wherin we discover that Hayuna should be a pushover. RALLY!
Also where USEC_OFFICER is given control of the best dwarven city. Seriously.

Current Orders
Chief Deus
Need First Promotion Orders

Keeper Myroc
-Tribal Leader USEC_OFFICER

Boatmurdered
Worker -> Warriors -> Axemen

Nist Ankah
Monument(89 Turns)
Growth(21 Turns)

Alchemist Kamina
The Wheel (2 Turns) -> Pottery -> Writing

Bard Dwarf Midget

Tribal Leader Waiting List
Urist McOverlord
Yaddy
sonerohi
Sheb
Burnt Pies
GlyphGryph

**************
TURNSET START
**************
142 -
Bay12: The wheel research is finished. We begin studying Pottery.
One of our workers who is chopping a forest is reassigned to building a road between Boatmurdered and Nist Ankah

148
Stonehendge is built in a far away land

150
Bay12: We finish our second Worker. Production of mass warriors begins. I assign the new worker to help build the road from Boatmurdered to the copper mine.

151
Gibbon has completed his great work of catolouging the largest civilizations in the world. He will regret not putting us on the list.

The Borders of Boatmurdered expand. I move our fogbusters out a bit.

We have finished researching The Wheel!

We move on to Pottery

Work on the mine near Boatmurdered finishes. I assign the third worker there to building the road towards Nist Ankah as well.

The Copper mine in Nist Ankah finishes, the worker begins connecting the copper to the city.

152

Joao adopts slavery.

153:

Hayuna has been studying Priesthood. He is likely going to try to rush the Oracle.

158
We meet Lincoln

Hayuna has begun archery! We need to strike soon! I strongly suggest that we start IW or Agriculture after pottery. Jags are much better than swords and killing archers, and we really do want food for when we get the sacrificial altar Unique Building.

159
Bay12: We finish the road connecting Nist Ankah, Boatmurdered, and the Copper. WE HAVE COPPER! The production of a warrior in Boatmurdered was automatically swapped to a spearman. I've decided to let it finish since the spear is already half done.

**************
END OF TURNSET
**************

Chief Deus
Need Promotion Orders

Current Military
North - 1 Warrior (Fogbusting. Forester II)
Nist Ankah - 2 Warriors (1 Promo each)

Alright then, it seems we have to act fast, so let's do what we Aztec's are best at. Let that spearman finish in Boatmurdered, then use slavery to hurry an axeman as fast as we can then we mobilize our troops and assault Hayuna. Hopefully he won't have an archer up in the time we've finished our army, and a spearman + axeman plus a couple of supporting warriors or two should likely be able to take care of any warriors he has.

Because this is a community play, not a let's play. But yeah; she has a lot of influence, what with the wall-ish text and experience.
...what.
blarg I don't know for some reason I had it in my head you were a girl.

Since I'm all confused about this I'll just let what I said be.

Now you're saying I'm a girl!?

Unless someone complains, just keep building the monument. Expanding the borders of Nist Ankah so it can actually build stuff in a prompt manner is a good idea.

I've not forgotten about this, I've just been busy.

Monument: I suggest we chop those trees to speed it up, then chop axes in that city once the borders pop.  Until then build farms on the FPs.

Workers:  I suggest one goes back to chop forests in our capital.  The other two should chop the forest at the 2nd city, then farm the FPs.  After the borders pop, they can chop forests in that city, then back to the farms for more food for whipping.

Whipping:  I suggest we whip an axe as often as our growth can support it, at least as often as it takes for the angry face to go away.

...wait, we don't have agri?  Forget writing, go pottery->agri->writing.  We need farms for whippage.
Forget the farms until then, just CHOP CHOP CHOP!!!

As for the rush, I suggest we wait until we have at least 8 axes.  Only then should we rush.  Nothing is worse than a rush which sputters out.  Once we declare war, Inca will go into war mode and start unit spamming.  So we should only DoW when we are sure we can crush them.
Archers aren't so bad, you're forced to deal with them on emp, as the AI starts with archery, and I've managed axe rushes on that level.  The hill will hurt, but if we move fast we'll take them out quickly.
Jags are hardly better than axes, IIRC.  Why do you say they are?

A few micro details: Why did you build the road nw of the 2nd city?  And why did you build the road on the hill nw of Boatmurdered instead of 1S of there?

It's pretty funny how Gandhi is getting screwed over by the hidden modifiers.  That's why I use BUG, so I can see those.  It's pretty funny how it looks like he's +1 with all sorts of people, but is really annoyed.

Request:  Can we see the power, GNP, and production graphs, please?

Problem is, they have horses within their cultural borders now. If we wait until then, they might have chariots, which will tear our axemen apart. Granted, chances are that they MAY have a single chariot NOW, but then we could just have our soon-to-be-finished spearman take care of it. I'm not saying that your plan isn't bad, Kamina, by all means, so far your planning has been top-notch, but I feel that as keeper I still have the right to question your suggestions.

Regardless, I think we will need Deus' confirmation of when to launch an assault, since he's the Chief.

Because I already had units there building a mine, and it was exactly the same number of tiles as below. I did not intend to build north of the forest however, bloody auto-path decided to go there on its own when I wasn't paying attention.

Jaguars ARE better than Axemen for attacking villages, especially against archers.

Cost: The same as an Axe
Resources: Jags are resourcesless, meaning we have no problem spamming them once IW is done
Advantages: +10% city attack, as opposed to a +50 melee attack. Against archers the Jag is noticably better, especially when combined with CR1
Stack Defenders: Jags can start with woodsman II,  making them faster to get to reinforce the front and quite powerful when defending from forests. One or two defending a stack can do wonders.

Early on they do wonders in a mixed stack, especially since having a few with CR promotions (actually, it's Free Combat 1, Free Woodsman 1, and free promotions and CR) they make excellent city attackers, and later on they make excellent overall catapult defenders and scouts. The only real problem is that -5h is really not enough to offset the -1 strength in other ways.

A few questions for our production leaders.

Deus: On what conditions do you want to go to war?
USEC: Nist Ankah will have 2 population in two turns. We can use one of those to whip that monument out. Do it? What do you want to build after the monument?
Myroc: We have five population in the capital. How hard do you want to whip?

Lightly. Killing off Boatmurdered's entire population for a single axeman probably isn't too great for an idea. Instead, try whipping right before or right after the population exceeds the happy cap.

I'd like to request that mine be named severedcoils, when the time comes. And I'd rather it wasn't a conquered one. Give that to someone more experienced.
