I'll second Dwarf Midgit and Deus just because I don't want to get into a huge fight over this. I would like to know what Myroc plans on doing before swinging a vote that way.

I'll actually put a vote forward for Japan, just so everyone has an alternative to Montie.

And if I wind up as a figure, PM me whenever you want me to do anything.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

I'll plan to research technologies that'll let us grab some resources that'll give us extra food, production, commerce etc. Animal Husbandry, Mining, that sort of thing. After that, since we're the Aztecs, I'll probably focus on the military aspect but overall, the tech tree will probably be quite balanced.

Haha, Myroc gets my vote by doing exactly what I would do.

I vote Mr. Person for keeper because he seems reliable and cooperative, Myroc because I agree with the plan(could you also talk a bit about your cultural plan?)... I'll refrain from voting Deus until he comes with his general war plan. Then again; we don't know anything about allies/enemies/geography, so I guess he's excused. Tribal leader isn't too important, so I'm fine with sonerohi becoming the third.

My general strategy for diplomacy is first of all to identify enemies(people we don't want), and alliances(groups of civs who like eachother). Bonus points if we have an alliance close to us. Then, of course, we gain an alliance's friendship, and spread our religion to them so we get better relationships. As for enemies, we try to keep them at only a "dislike", until we can obliterate them in one swift war. For enemy alliances we'll need the help of our allies, who hopefully have a good military. Scouts will simply explore the world and, if we're at war, keep an eye on enemy forces.

My plan is:-

1. Build army.
2. Make hilariously unreasonable demands of nearby civs.
3. ???
4. PROFIT!

(could you also talk a bit about your cultural plan?)
Who needs culture when you can just crush the cultural beneath the wheels of our mighty chariots?

Joke aside, pretty much whatever is most useful for us. I might avoid going for one of the early religions. This is what I usually do, and I manage to do fine without it, I just wait until some neighbor sends a missionary to us. Or since we're the aztecs, we could just conquer some religious cities and spread whatever they have to our cities.

Count me in on this one. I'll agree to the existing nominations, and sign up as a future tribal leader.

I'd like to have a religion whenever we're ready to build temples/(can't remember exactly what was needed for emissaries). That way, we'll recieve a significant boost to our relationships, which would be useful. I've yet to see what's possible once you become real good friends with other civs.

You know; the Spanish do seem like a good civ. Voting for them.
