Given our lack of anarchy, converting to buddhism now then swapping to the dominant religion when it emerges seems to have no downsides.

As long as you guys kill Hannibal, I don't care who you worship.

If converting to Buddism lets you kill him faster, I'd suggest that.

Thats definately enough axeman to steamroll someone else. But- what if we just take someone's capitol for ourselves? Do we need a full kill on the next guy? That could do horrible things to our economy for now. How big are they?

Oops, I appear to have exceeded my bandwidth for photobucket.

 :-[

My limit should reset on the 10th, so I will continue this LP then.

Good to see me absence wasn't really a problem.  I'll actually do some strategizing when I have some time/I can actually see our empire (pics back).

So I've been reading through this LP in one binge now that the pictures are back. It's pretty good, especially the twist. Could I get on that Tribal Leader list?

Indeed, the pictures are back up.

Right, I need:

Production Orders
City Renames
Research Path

Also, I don't think we know where Hannibal is. Do we?

Boksi, you have been added to the list.

Urist, you now have control of Cuzco, which is now known as SeveredCoils

Sheb will be given control of Tiwanku for the next round, should he/she/it wish to rename it.

TURN 14 - Where we simply can't FIND carthage, no matter how hard we look!

Turn 201

Our victory fresh in our peoples minds, we quickly settler on our next target. Hannibal has scorned us! He must pay! HANNIBAL, BELITTLER OF DWARVES. His blood shall STAIN our alters in sacrifice to the Buddha... BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD BUDDHA.

Um... that is... if we actually knew where he IS.

See, remember how we lost all those scouts and constantly had them run into wildlife and waste turns healing? Our knowledge of lands besides our own is not as good as it can be.

So instead I send out a warrior to do a little more scouting to the west of Tiwanku.

Oh, and we converted to Buddhism, if you didn't realize. Yay Spiritual.

Finally, Tiwanku stabilized this turn and promptly decided to shrink. -.-

203

The Granary in Boatmurdered finishes. To boost our exploration efforts, I recruit a scout. Tiwanku's population is stable and no longer starving this turn.

204

Well, it doesn't look like Carthage is close at all...but China is. Mao Zedong seemed a little ticked off that we offed Hayuna, so he COULD be a viable target. His cities are a little far from our capital. Honestly, I'm thinking we should consider moving our capital to Nist Ankah or SeveredCoils (Nist Ankah is the better site for it, in my opinion.)

The road is finally finished connecting Serveredcoils and Tiwanku to the rest of our lands. To celebrate,I tell our workers to get some cottages up to stop our treasury from hemorrhaging money every turn. We have four floodplain tiles next to Nist Ankah, plus a strategic resource and a desert hill. Plus it's centrally located in our empire. A PRIME spot for a capital, I say!

206

Still without orders for building and pretty much out of options, I queue a monument and worker in Boatmurdered. The scout I sent to the southwest to scout some more land that we never got to see.

207

Thanks to our new cottages, I am able to reduce our slider to 70% (and our deficit to 9 gold per turn) and keep our actual research rate relatively high still. Our army is currently stationed in Tiwanku to prevent any further drain on our economy from supply gold.

209

Buddhism spread in Nist Ankah. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD BUDDHA \( ^-^ )/> (>X.X)>......~~~

211

The monument in Severedcoils is finished. I begin a barracks there for now as Urist has not had a chance to take control of his city yet.

Also, hello Stickland! You look MUCH closer now.

212 -

Well, it appears we have finally met the people Stickland are at war with. Some interesting folks who call themselves "Arabians" under a disgusting human named "Saladin". At first, we belived them civilized. However, when they took us to their dusty temples and introduced us to their gods it was clear they are heretics that must be destroyed at all costs. HINDUISM IS NOT OF BUDDHA NATURE! DEATH TO THE INFIDELS!

I told them there will be peace in our time. DWARVEN peace, if you catch my drift.

213 - We discover Writing Book Keeping! Managers everywhere rejoice!

Lincoln immediately asks us to have open borders with America. I don't say yes, but I also don't say no.

It's not a BAD move, per say.
----------------------
Also, the Arabian empire was destroyed this round. Alas, we hardly knew ye!

215

BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA... *gasp*
AHAHAHAHAHAHA

No.

218

My decision to not fogbust to save cash backfired. Some barb archers showed up near the borders of Severedcoils. I sent an axe with Cover and Strength II to deal with them. He leveled and now has a free Promotion.

We really do have a lot of unclaimed territory around us. Although it goes against my warmonger instincts, I'm wondering if we should keep the army at the size it is now and just expand?

220

Joao converts to Judaism. He has joined the evil heratical monstrosity that is Ghadhi.

I would say that we should trade fish for clams. (He can find his own copper, damn it.)

Also, change production from spearman to scout. Sounds like we need one.
