I prefer a mixture I guess. I don't really notice makeup, but hair augmentations and such are very noticeable and can be done very right.

Would this be considered a form of artificial beauty?

It'd be considered a form of crazy furries.

I have a wife and thus cannot properly engage in this discussion due to prior obligations. However whatever form of beauty she happens to be pursuing at the moment is always the best in the world.

In the eye of the beholder.

Wise words.

Natural beauty.
Sure, it doesn't disgust me if someone does some cosmetics, but it won't really help you through in my eyes.

Make up is ok for special occasions, altough not important in my opinion.
Wearing it for school, work or everyday life, is just silly.

...I read the title and expected a poll about human art vs natural landscapes.  Not sure why.

Well, since I've never had cosmetic surgery or worn make up, it would be kindof unfair for me to expect other people to.

I'm of the opinion that a little makeup never hurt anybody, hell, I use some when needed. (What? I've nasty acne, and coverup is damn useful if it's the right tone.) But boob implants? No. Just no.

Let us not forget about other modifications, like tattoos. Proper tattoos can look great, although they are very easy to mess up.

And they might turn horrible when you get old.

If anything is cool it's scars, but only when they've got a good story behind them.

Does being at the backswing of a golf-club count as a good story behind a scar?
