Fine result of "Mood Bug"
« on: January 03, 2011, 08:16:45 am »

Recently i had a very special artifact made. The creator just kept on hauling and hauling and hauling and....

(This is a known issue, and has to do with a workshop claimed for a mood to be outside a burrow. In my case it probably happened when i accidentally removed the burrow (IMHO, it is MUCH too easy to remove burrows, I'd like a warning before a "delete" becomes effective))

The price isn't exceptional, some 177k.
What is exceptional how many images and adornments the artist managed to fit into one figurine. A Swiss watchmaker must be clumsy in comparison.

Reminds me of a mason mood i once used with that bug to turn all the fort's stone into a door.

It had at least 15 images of itself on it.

While adding magma to anything will make it dwarfy, adding the word "magma" to your post does not necessarily make it funny.

(IMHO, it is MUCH too easy to remove burrows, I'd like a warning before a "delete" becomes effective))

Some key bindings are a matter of taste.  Some of them are simply wrong by default.  The defaults for removing notes, removing burrows, and removing items from the manager queue are pretty much the worst possible.

If you change these to upper-case wherever they are now (press escape for key bindings menu), you'll have a much better play experience.

I reported this in "suggestions" about six months ago.
