Downloaded the 12/14 version and booted up my save that I've been working with since just before the 12/10.  Everything worked fine, I got to play a few minutes before I had to quit.
Save, closed, done.
Just now tried to resume the game and I get a windows error report when it says "Loading game...."
Toady, it's the same game I sent you with the broken magma flood.

I let it run a few times, saved, quit, loaded fine.  Do you know exactly what you were doing do those minutes?  Maybe one of the jobs is broken.

I have the exact same problem only its happened twice now. Every time it goes
Error
inflate error: -3

I'm not too certain what it is but now every time i save i get this error.

When you save?  It's probably trying to offload the units then, and one of the files has been corrupted.  The very latest version might help with some of this (though the files themselves are lost), though apparently there are still issues.  Backups are crucial at this point.  Things will become corrupted frequently while the project is changing so much.

No.  Not really.  Sceduled to build some bedrooms and dig noble's quaters (I think that finished).
It also might be slightly different than what I sent you.  I'll unzip it and try it.

Ok, it opened fine.  Will see what happens.
I also built a well and 6 traps (4 around the well, 2 on the right side of the door on the right side of the chasm), dug a spot below the magma smelter and built a magma glass furnace, and commanded to build a magma forge.

Sorry should have been more specific I meant that when ever i save that save gets corrupt.

So I did I little more testing and although whenever I play with my most recent backup I can only save corrupt saves, the previous backup before that one works fine. So does starting a new world. So apart from the fact that my only good backup is two years earlier it seems like it should work out.
Oh and my version is v0.22.121.23a

The newest version will allow you to play with your intermediate backups, so long as they weren't ever saved in the Dec 14 version.
